Mostly Sony console warriors is my guess. Feeling the need to retaliate when they actually get nothing from it. If there was a poll for what publisher Xbox should get next, it would yield the same type of results.

Thing is, I feel like Capcom and Square make more sense for Sony and the audience is basically there already, so not much is lost. Zenimax's output was also a better fit for Microsoft and their userbase.

It's not difficult to understand, many voting this way are at best not worried because they are firmly entrenched in the PlayStation ecosystem and have a "got mine" attitude, at worst they are seeing this as a boon because it would keep games from others. If you are fine with Sony buying these companies, you should also be fine if Mircrosoft, or Nintendo, or Google, or Amazon, or Apple were to buy these companies.

To the people voting "I'm fine either way" who are okay with these other companies buying Capcom and or Square-Enix, I apologise for calling their vote disgusting.
