That's fine, after killing them all they could have given the land to the slaves
Yup. Sounds like a whole lot of free real estate to me. You will not catch me crying over the deaths of millions of Confederate types. If they all got Thanos'd next week I'd probably die of alcohol poisoning from the celebrating. I pray I'd wake up to that kind of news.

Even if they managed to hang 10k, I'm all for sending a message. Obviously practicality gets in the way but if I was in charge I would've gone out of my way to do some public executions of Confederate slave traders. I would've done it for free. Shiieeetttt at least kill everyone in the Confederate government and top generals. How they walked away free still blows my mind

Meanwhile in Spain…

Spain's Socialist-led coalition government is preparing a law that would allow women over the age of 16 to have abortions without permission from their parents or guardians, and introduce up to five days of menstrual leave a month.

I really hope the US rectifies these decisions soon because the country is moving backwards at a scary pace.

Spain is easing up, meanwhile on its former colony the Philippines in which Spain applied it's stand on abortion of the time (pre-colonial Philippines allowed abortion) when it colonized it, abortion is still illegal.

Lots of artists have signed Planned Parenthood's #BansOffOurBodies campaign:

In a new full-page ad in today's (May 13) issue of The New York Times, 160 artists are advocating for reproductive freedom, including abortion rights. Phoebe Bridgers, Megan Thee Stallion, Angel Olsen, Olivia Rodrigo, Mitski, Billie Eilish, and more are among the artists who have signed the letter, which is part of Planned Parenthood's #BansOffOurBodies campaign, in opposition of the Supreme Court's plan to overturn Roe v. Wade, as laid out in a leaked draft opinion. Find the advertisement below.

Earlier this month, Phoebe Bridgers opened up about her own experience getting an abortion and shared a link to The Cut's list of abortion funds. Olivia Rodrigo also spoke about abortion rights at her recent Washington, D.C. concert, saying she was "heartbroken" about the impending ruling.

Are all those actors and actresses going to commit to not working in any states that restrict abortion, especially if one of those states is quite possibly Georgia, where Marvel films most of its movies and there are lots of other rising movie production going on?

Also, as a side note -

Activists won't like it, but instead of a wide ranging codification of Roe that'll never get 60 votes, Schumer & The Democrat's should be focusing on small bills that focus on these various unpopular restrictions, to try to get GOPers to look bad for voting for this, and hey, maybe you'll luck into causing some GOP disarray and/or some actual protection for women in red states, even if it's not as much as we want to give them.

The problem is that for something like the 6 week ban, there's not even a majority who oppose it. But I mean, I guess something is better than nothing but I don't see it even passing or even making the GOP look bad.

The Negative Zone
It's midnight on the east coast which means the national day of action is upon us. I just wanted to post a friendly reminder that this is happening today and if you have the ability, this is your best opportunity thus far to hit the streets and let your voice be heard.

Just google search Bans Off Our Bodies May 14 + your city for information about your local protest! You can also use this link to find the time and location of your closest action: https://www.mobilize.us/bansoff/ourbodies

This day of action has been organized through the combined efforts of Women's March, Planned Parenthood, UltraViolet and MoveOn. The four primary locations are Los Angeles, Washington DC, Chicago, and New York. Organizers are expecting MASSIVE turnouts at the anchor events, but many cities across the country are planning protests and marches!

Hope to see yall out there!!

Is Aerosmith pro choice? Cause if so, they could get another hit and raise awareness by writing "Janie's Got a Kid.," where she's been arrested for her murderous rampage, but while she's in jail, she finds out she's pregnant with her father's kid and they won't let her have an abortion.

Maybe throw this one back in the vault to cook a bit more.
