And that's also why the National Dex Cut was such a big deal.

The argument of "I never cared for catching them all, anyways" always irked me, because besides the "what the hell are they playing for then" thought that I always had, the thing is that everybody has a different group of favorite Pokémon, and so, every Pokémon should be available for everyone.

Eventually plucked for Hawlucha but it could easily have been one of another ten or so Pokémon

Sinnoh: Lopunny. It was so hard picking between Lopunny, Misimagius, Buneary, and Roserade. My fave Gen Pokemon wise for sure.
Unova: it's gotta be Scolipede right?
Kalos: Goodra forever, although Pumpkaboo is sooo cute.
Alola: Mimikyu is too cute to not pick, but Tsareena and Salazzle are both great too.
Galar: Haterene is awesome but Indeedee almost got my vote.

I disagree, it's a small dex but it has so many great designs. Aegislash, Tyrantrum, the legendaries, Talonflame, Greninja are all top tier designs and so many other designs are great too
