HD SM, you're forgetting what XY looked like lolLooks even worse, like and HD copy of XY. What's promising about this? Lmao.
I am going to push it up by one notch.
Not really. The biggest complaints were how slow DP were. I don't think they centered around the region or featuresWhat is the fish based on?
Isn't Gen IV infamous for being the worst until VI came around?
Yeah, maybe for Gen 9 they'll change it up.
What? I'm incredibly excited. Comparing the games to Gen 4 is like one of the highest praises I could have given it.For someone that sure posts a lot about pokemon.... you dont seem very excited?
The region design looks great. That was a gym? I thought it was meant to be a cave.
I guess for now I'll remain cautiously optimistic bout the region design.
No? Especially not w/ PlatinumWhat is the fish based on?
Isn't Gen IV infamous for being the worst until VI came around?
(Maybe it's because those complaints are never addressed)New game, same old complaints we hear every gen. Yall impossible to please.
No way, can't be. That's never been done before. Why would they tempt fate.So
I'm gonna call it right now.
The gym leaders + Elite Four will be inspired by the Knights of the Round Table, and the champion will be based on Arthur.
Its really not. It's a bad design choice that they finally improved on last year then fell back to because nostalgia.
Give me a break
Lets Go just showed one way it can be successfully done
What does Pokémon in the overworld add? It just clogs the environment and kills any surprise of something new appearing. If you already see everything, it's boring. I like that disappointment of seeing something old and that rush of excitement of encountering something new after that battle transition. Overworld Pokémon kills that.So I have a legitimate question for everyone that likes random encounters. Why? What do they legitimately add to the game that Pokemon you see in the wild would not add? Because from where I'm sitting, it seems to just pad play time.
The poster said random battles, not wild battles. Wild battles should never be gone from the main series, but random encounters is such a terrible mechanic now that we've been presented with roaming Pokémon in the overworld, I don't really know why anyone would prefer random encounters over actually being able to see the Pokémon and going for the one you're interested in, plus it makes the world look more alive.
Not seeing it. Game has caves, so it's already way better than BotW :^)
Looks even worse, like and HD copy of XY. What's promising about this? Lmao.
Looks better than I thought it would.I'm sorry but this looks awful.
GF still can't handle fur textures lol
If the Pokemon Gyms are soccer matches between teams I'd lose my shit. That would be genius
"HD XY", jfcLooks even worse, like and HD copy of XY. What's promising about this? Lmao.
I demand Armored Lucario.
So only the third version will be any good.Calling it now, these games will be like a new Diamond/Pearl. Nothing major in terms of changes, just the same old formula polished to pitch perfection with great Pokémon, great region and dungeons, and a great post game.
So, we've got a couple trilithons:
Though it doesn't look like a full discount Stonehenge. Then again, even if there is one, I don't expect to actually see the henge part (because that's not the stones)
Love the chalk figure though, very nice
Betting we get a bunch of ancient/centuries old legendaries
Already predicted by another person in 1st page of this thread.
I hope the final evo is a big goofy chubby bunny you just want to hug, and not a lanky bad ass socerr playing bunny.
I'm....kinda torn.
On one hand it undeniably looks better than SuMo, but at the same time, compared to other notable Nintendo franchises, it doesn't look THAT much better - at least, in a way that immediately draws the player's eye to.
And while I did hear Ohmori say they want to try new things, literally nothing in what they showed looked new, or hell, even inspired.
I'm holding out hope for cool older-game features to make a kick back in, but when for whatever reason you refuse to even put in stuff like your 1st pokemon following you on the overworld, or having the routes looks like a straight shot, it doesn't exactly inspire confidence.
Nor do the starters - Scorbunny is probably what I'll roll with, but nothing in them screams new or interesting to me.
Dunno if I got caught up in the 'BOTW of pokemon' hype a little, but this isn't really sucking me in - especially with the delay.
Kinda funny that it looks like instead of having references to two different British cities it just has London twice at two different points in history.
