This is an excellent excuse to get that Normal / Ghost type I've always wanted. Also make it have Levitate, and suddenly Normal Arceus and Marshadow are fearing a ball of rats!
A delay. Asking for more time with them having difficulties with the switch and speed of creating a new main game. Video talks about other Pokémon projects

Lets go visuals and similar to ORAS/XY gameplay/storywise would be pretty Nice already. Bet my kids Will like that too. (9 and 6, both played the crap out of ORAS/XY/SM/USUM)

i read a lot of pokemon fanfiction(not that kind), so just by searching for new stories i see things that would ruin most peoples childhoods.

Why is Goodra one of the most popular Pokémon to do porn for? I get Lucario or Blaziken or Gardevoir or Incineroar - they all have a strong, humanoid, furry appeal to them. But Goodra is like the goofiest looking goo monster.

What do you mean by "all generations"? Do you mean every Pokemon from every Gen? If so, then yes, that's practically guaranteed. Let's Go is just a one-off occurrence (for now, we could get more similar games in the future).

3 minutes if Pokken or Go. 4 minutes nebulously rattling on about innovation and Pokémon before showing us just the logos with nothing else.
We'll get names and logos. We'll see the starter Pokémon, the legendary Pokémon and a very brief glimpse of gameplay. I expect it to be like the gen 6 reveal at the very least.
The last mainline Pokemon games I really got into were Gold/Silver, so for me it's obviously been a very long time. It's a series I've always observed from afar, more impressed in the longevity of its generational spanning fandom, but haven't been drawn to titles since the aforementioned. Which isn't a criticism of the games or formula, so much as my own evolving tastes and priorities.
So I guess as a baseline, I hope Generation 8 on Switch demonstrates something that hooks me back in. I don't know what that could be, and I'm not holding the reveal up to any particular vague standard, but it'd be nice to be excited for a mainline Pokemon.
If not, that's fine. I do hope for more avid Pokemon fans Gen 8 on Switch is a demonstrable evolution of both the core design and the technical presentation. I know GameFreak aren't exactly known for production crushing technical accomplishments and presentation, but it'd be nice if there's some Wow Factor in the reveal more than a predictable look and technical benchmark that follows the standard perspective and design tropes fans have become accustomed to.
And as a side, if Nintendo really want to blow me away, I'll take a Pokemon Snap 2 please.

Im waiting for gamexplain to spoil everything in thw game for the upcoming trailer more than the reveal trailer it self.
My prediction: 3 versions, 2 for 3ds, 1 for Switch with both or third legendary exclusive for Switch version.

They are blending Pokémon with Yu-Gi-Oh! in a brand new collaboration. To catch the Pokémon now you have to Duel them in a game of Yu-Gi-Oh! first to weaken them. Based in Duelist Kingdom.
For real though, I am looking forward to the reveal! I just hope I haven't hyped myself up only to get a logo. I really hope there will be footage.

I want a pokemon thats just a literal moving pile of garbage, and the more you liter, the stronger it becomes.
No wild battles for sure. People actually want random encounters to stay gone, and an optional catching mechanic would be whatever.
But remove wild battles like Let's Go and we riot (it's not gonna happen though, they said as much)
Definitely the third one. Most people would accept the Let's Go Mechanics if they were optional, and Pokemon appearing on the overworld seemed to be one of the accepted changes in Let's Go. No Wild Battles at all would definitely garner the most hate.
All of them, though people seem to like no random battles for some reason. I'm sure this game will have at least 1 of those mechanics... If not all three.
