Man, if they decide to stay quiet till March, you're in for a bad ride haha.
They can announce it any day at any second. The random rules folks are making up about when, how and why are kind of amusing though.

I found a post on reddit.com/r/FanBoyRumors that totally confirmed this plus they said something about another number coming after that but that they didn't want to give too much away or else their identity would be revealed. Sounds like a confirmation to me.

Speaking to Jim Ryan, he confirmed that PlayStation 5 will launch one day. Asked for any further details Mr. Ryan hugged me tightly and whispered to my ear "soon" and ran away giggling.
Posted the bath tub icon, which is a reference to past events on the old forum where users had a ton of fun being hyped about the PS Meeting 2013 and claiming Mark Cerny's voice is soothing and like being in a bath tub. No joke. Those were some crazy times. The good old days. So something is happening very soon...

Wired exclusive: Sony will start talking about PS5.
Sony's Jim Ryan confirmed that at some point they will start talking about PS5. "After the succesful reveal of our logo, next up is the slogan. All will be revealed in due time", Ryan said. Sony also revealed the official mascot for PS5. "After much deliberation we decided on making the turtle the official mascot for PS5. It was a tough call between that and a snail." Talking about the new slogan Ryan left us with a tease: "it will be appropriate for the situation. We know that when we start talking, our Target audience might have aged a bit. It will definitely be very loud and were also working on exciting new tech to present it in braille."

Sony would not be attending E3 and would instead use "hundreds of consumer events across the globe" to promote the upcoming Playstation 5 system.

The PS4 Pro invite went out in August 9th(Tuesday) a month before the meeting which was September 7th(Wednesday).
Loved it, the movie was so funny ! Can't wait for that sequel !
Now, PlayStation doing the announcement and it will be a good Sony day lol

Guys, look on the bright side. Every time we expect good news, we get bad news instead. So isn't this 'no news' a good thing? I for one welcome our no news overlords.
