LOL I know it's a single game thing and obviously they not going to do an event.
But it gotta be exciting, I would say their pasts 2 years, announcements have been amazingly low, they just have not learned to hit that button

Yeah, can't underestimate the probability of this. Even if the announcement wasn't today, the Playstation account would be tweeting out a whole bunch of stuff by now. They're dead silent.

They haven't posted anything on any of their accounts today as far as I can tell. Even when they go silent on Twitter due to something that's going on politically they'll still post Youtube videos. So it may just be a case where there's nothing to post yet.

I've been playing through Ghosts of Tsushima Directors Cut the past couple of weeks. Is it just me or implementation of Dualsense and 3D audio features the best yet? Actually being able to feel the different textures of different surfaces as you sprint/ride your horse. The adaptive triggers with the bow feels very good and satisfying, and the 3D audio sounds so great.

Other games like Horizon FW and Returnal are also great examples, but something about GoT just feels a little better.

Could definitely be the case. Looking at Playstation Twitter, I don't think they've put out anything since the decision came in.

My point is more that both are possible, so asking the question why do people think it will be revealed today is a bit weird.

Also, the "typical" Tuesday announcement for a Thursday SoP didn't happen a single time in 2022 so far. So it is not typical at all.

Yea the Xbox account made a post Friday night about the situation and that's it. Their gamepass account hasn't posted since Thursday.

So y'all are probably right

I mean, cool. Just pointing out that it's happened in the past and that people shouldn't necessarily expect an announcement today, especially since they haven't said anything since the supreme court decision and that might delay things a bit. Not saying it was unreasonable or anything to think it might come this morning.

The horse riding is my favorite part - feeling the galloping in the control legit feels more immersive, as cliché as that sounds.

Except this is completely false. Most of them have updated their logo.
For most of the ones that haven't, they barely use twitter. They clearly don't have a social media manager.
