I agree but it does seem like they're keeping it that way. All gameplay demos have been on Series X since it was revealed. The deal is there to have people associate the game with the Xbox, despite it being multiplatform, much like Call of Duty has had with Sony for years.Marketing deals should not prevent stuff like this its insanely stupid. We got reviews for every version but PS5 and Stadia.
Has there been a 20% increase in new game prices? Just want to compare to announced game prices in my region
Damn that's a 33% increase, hope they reevaluate this shitIn Portugal if you pre order Demon Souls on the retailers you can get it for 60. Going to the store and picking it up it's gonna en up being 79.99
AFAIK there's one last embargo today!?Are there any more embargoes on PS5 content or is this pretty much it in terms of pre release info?
Today we will see everything. In 15 minutes media will probably be able to stream directly from PS5.Are there any more embargoes on PS5 content or is this pretty much it in terms of pre release info?
Looking at Sony's general investments and attitude I think their strategy will be solidifying 1st party efforts, rather than buyouts. Maybe it is good strategy, maybe it is not but I just cannot see Sony going on big shopping spree like MS.
Yeah, Giantbomb are doing a stream later today.Today we will see everything. In 15 minutes media will probably be able to stream directly from PS5.
I'm sure Sony themselves are the ones with more data to support their strategic desicions, how much money comes from third parties, and wich ones drive more engagement to their platform. It's risky to allow your competitors to gobble publishers that you rely on for your ecosystem and revenue. While I agree Sony seems to be focusing on organic growth and there is merit for it. There is a high chance that PS platform will see if a decline in third party support if consolidation is happening in a large scale if Sony won't get involved.
1st Party is not enough to support a $400 console and a whole division.
Update, embargo lifts in two hours.Today we will see everything. In 15 minutes media will probably be able to stream directly from PS5.
No reason I am sure just besides Spider-Man its their other big launch title this way it get alot of focus.Wonder why they've held Demon's Souls back compared to other titles. Waiting for final updates or something?
Which retailer? The lowest I see around is 67€ for pre order. In Portugal if you pre order Demon Souls on the retailers you can get it for 60. Going to the store and picking it up it's gonna en up being 79.99
12:00 CET according to Everyeye.itSo in 3 and a half hours the embargo on everything PS5 lifts, according to Lance MacDonald.
Also makes sense to have the more multiplayer focused games out closer to launch, like Sackboy and Demon. No reason I am sure just besides Spider-Man its their other big launch title this way it get alot of focus.
Everytime someone asks when Demon Souls reviews are, the reviews get delayed an extra day.
Exactly, just like Elden Ring or Factions mode for TLOU P2.Everytime someone asks when Demon Souls reviews are, the reviews get delayed an extra day.
I've delayed the Demon Souls remake reviews for at least 2 months. Sorry guys.
If that's the case, I've delayed Factions news for at least a year, lol.

And every time someone whispers rumors about Silent Hill, the reveal gets delayed by a week. :p
You don't even imagine ...And every time someone whispers rumors about Silent Hill, the reveal gets delayed by a week. :p
Just kidding...
No one knows
No reviews, but tons of live streams and gameplay
The final day for my US Pals! Hope everything will be smooth for you
What if Demon Souls never existed and it was a figment of our imaginations this whole time?
In Portugal if you pre order Demon Souls on the retailers you can get it for 60. Going to the store and picking it up it's gonna en up being 79.99
The MSRP in Europe for new PS4 and Xbox one games has been 69.99 for quite some time. However most stores sell games day 1 for 59.99, so 10 Euro below MSRP. The new MSRP is 79.99 (a 14% increase), and soon enough stores will sell physical games below the MSRP.
