same. I used to just buy games when they got to the price I want them at, but I've seen them end up on PS+ too many times before I got to playing them. So now I'm trying to just buy them when they're on sale + I will be ready to play them soon.

Detroit´s decision system and multiple story paths can be some dumb fun, though, especially when playing together with someone else. The story and treatment of its android scifi themes are just way less smart than it thinks they are (especially when compared to something like Nier Automata or Blade Runner 2049).
Now I can't buy shit because I'm waiting to see if we in the US will get discount codes in an email. I guess I'll wait til the sale almost ends and then buy Bloodstained.
The EW1 DLC's are the epilogue chapters of the game and are very much worth it to wrap up the story. The vanilla game end definitely leaves questions and feels incomplete without the DLC.
Oh, so they're not just optional "to fill out the story" type stuff but.. basically the actual end of the game. Part of me is annoyed, because I hate that DLC practice, but eh. lol Good to know, champ. Thank you.
have you ever played SOTC? Generally considered an all time great and an essential experience.
I preordered it, loved it, bought all the dlc courses. I haven't reached the end of single player, but I hear after the campaign it gets very grindy or you can pay $ to skip the grind... And many didn't care for that.
But if you like Hot Shots Golf, it's a no brainer at that price.
it really is an essential experience and that is an incredible remake. I'm a fumito ueda super fan but there's basically nobody who'll tell you SOTC is anything but an incredible game.
My gosh are US psn users gonna get a store discount code via email or not? That would make this sale even more juicier.

Nfs for $5 is awesome. If you like arcade racing with a hot garbage fmv story it's for you. I loved it.
Guess I'll be that nobody and say.. I dont get the hype. Bought the ico/sotc collection on ps3 and while I loved ico.. sotc didnt jive with me.
Saying that, it's so cheap even I'm considering giving it another shot.
So this is really gonna sound like I'm making excuses - and I'm the level of fanboy where I would probably do that - but it's really worth noting that SOTC in the collection was borked. Simply put, Wander flops around on the colossi constantly and makes the whole affair kind of a maddening experience. The simplest movement of a colossus sends him flailing, and it really holds up progress. I've heard differing theories - that bluepoint used the "european grip" vs. that the physics were programmed for a 20-25fps framerate (original PS2) and moving it up to 30fps screwed up his interactions - but suffice to say, as much as I love the game, even I found it off putting.
So if that was part of why it didn't jive, that is completely fixed in the PS4 version. There are other trade-offs - they missed the mark on Wander's face - but all in all it's a great version of the game and a great complement to the original. And if it was other elements, well Bluepoint was pretty faithful so I wouldn't expect much to else to change.

Picked up Dragon Age Inquisition. For 5 bucks, why not. It'll give me a singleplayer rpg to dabble in.

One of my favorite games of the last ten years. You won't find a lot of love for it on this forum but it's still great.
Nothing is missing. There are 4 dlc courses and some "premium" golf carts. Nothing essential to the experience. All you really need is the base game. Base game has 8 courses.
