Never happening. The TLOU2 did around 180k in Japan first week. So can we expect 300+ k for GoT first week?
Sold the first 20 or so within a couple days, but then it took a couple weeks to sell the last 20. I don't work in a game store, mind you. I work in an electronics department of a retail store.A bit off topic, but how did those 40 copies of TLOU2 sell in terms of day one and legs?
Anyway, really happy for SP!
DamnI was shocked to see we only got 8 copies at my store in the US. For comparison, we got 40 copies of TLoU 2. We also got 20 copies of Paper Mario, which we've only sold like two of, whereas we sold all our copies of GoT on day one and STILL haven't gotten any additional copies.
Thanks for the info. Sounds typical for a highly anticipated game.Sold the first 20 or so within a couple days, but then it took a couple weeks to sell the last 20. I don't work in a game store, mind you. I work in an electronics department of a retail store.
but the tonal gap between the two game's receptions two years apart feels pretty intense. But the genre never really saturated things in the same way in Japan so maybe there's less of that.
