So, just got free RIME on Epic Store, but I'm surprised to see Sony Exclusives on the platform as well. So we have third party Sony Exclusives on PC now?

Does this mean PlayStation might venture into the world of PC in the future? The newest game is Detroit: Too Human by Quantic Dream which wasn't too long ago.

What do you guys/gals think?

Work
This just means that the year long agreement these companies had with Sony likely expired and Epic paid them enough money to make the porting effort worth it.

It's a special case for Quantic Dream, don't expect anything more. Basically external studios putting their games out on PC. Helldivers was also on Steam long ago.

Rime isn't a Sony exclusive. The devs bought back the rights and released it multiplat.

As for the Sad Dad Trilogy, I dunno.

They're not exclusives anymore and sony din't have anything to do with it.
The developer itself chose to port them to pc.

For the record, the 3 quantic dreams games were planned for a Steam release. Heavy Rain has remains of steam controller in files or so.

Epic only paid for a delay, as usual.

The weird Too Human spinoff no one expected.

The Quantic Dream games are there because they're no longer with Sony and they let them launch their games on PC.
Flower, Journey etc similar deal

Not true. Sony owns these IPs. IIRC their logo and trademarks are still present too. They likely brokered a deal with EPIC as well as Quantic Dream. Besides, they have put some of their exclusives on PC before. They do it from time to time.
