this is a hardware talk that was originally planned for gdc, its not meant to be there big reveal for ps5
I really don't know who is this presentation for, regular players don't really care about this, hardcore ones know all about this. everyone wants to see games or tech demos which isn't happening.
Neither is 1TB so a lot of people are just going to upgrade both anyway.
that what i understand so far...... the transparency is amazing in this speech so far.
it's variable frequency so its not going to be 10,2TF at all times.
Presentation is interesting but it's strange to me to start with this as one of the first presentation/event for PS5
Reading the eurogamer article...man tflop number really doesnt do ps5 justice.., read up guys, overall this is still a huge machine
they're not completely accurate.... people where saying it was gonna be 9.2 & most got 8tf from the github info. so it wasn't completely right on everything.

So who exactly is trying to convince me that this talk was well prepared before? And sorry but how was that targeted for GDC? Developers already know about the benefit of fast storage.
This should be the kind of presentation that happens AFTER you've released a mass market friendly reveal trailer...

Waiting for the inevitable videos from Ryan Reynolds where he reads aloud the tech specs of electronics while an audience makes wisecracks.
The point is that this is the only thing that is more powerful that XSX. They need to hype it.
right also, all thes QOL improvements, games should be a lot smaller in size and wider in their scopes with this solution.
