If there is a press release or anything they would already have them and be under NDA.
Why would Sony risk it leaking that way after keeping it secret for such a long time? Would be pure stupidity. If there is a press release or anything they would already have them and be under NDA.
Yep. Don't need a press release when millions are going to see it live. Why would Sony risk it leaking that way after keeping it secret for such a long time? Would be pure stupidity.
There's no way it's not $499/$399. It has to. It's the only price that makes sense. Excited to see what other games they have in store.
Confirmed 4K/60fps patches for games like TLoU:P2 and Ghost of Tshushima
I definitely think they will give the price/date because otherwise it will leak from retailers anyway, but whether there are good reasons to hold a couple week longer is complicated. If they did it would piss everybody off. There's no good reason to withhold that information anymore now that we know what Microsoft is doing and EVERYONE has been pestering them online about this everywhere for weeks if not months. Now is the time.
That's one hell of a loss though and I really don't think they would take that large of a loss unless they needed to

Sony will likely show The Last of Us Part II multiplayer. If Naughty Dog is there in any capacity I will need a new pair of undies.
If ND is there it'll be for Part II MP.If Naughty Dog is there in any capacity I will need a new pair of undies.
Release it with a PS5 "remaster" of the main game, and I'll buy 20 copies.
If NDAs were that effective nothing would ever leak.Because you aren't leaking it when giving it to trusted press, you realise none of these people would want to burn their relationships with Sony.
I bet you absolutely nothing that you're way way offMy guess: $349 PS5 Digital, $449 PS5 disc
Cuts close to the Series S, undercuts the Series X.
No, they should just be patching it. I don't think a full blown new version would go down well.

No, because it would be clear as day they'd just be including MP so they can charge for it again. Besides, a year ago Naughty Dog said the MP wouldn't be a part of Part II.
All they have to do is 'pass info'Because you aren't leaking it when giving it to trusted press, you realise none of these people would want to burn their relationships with Sony.
Same. I'm determined to get one at launch but anything above £500 I might hesitate for a bit. Not that over £500 is anywhere near likely anyway.
Twitch seems to be better every time for me
She's well aware of the differences I don't have a clue what she's trying to do here, maybe she's thinking through the lense of a casual?I definitely think they will because otherwise it will leak from retailers anyway, but whether there are good reasons to hold a couple week longer is complicated.
I just saw Alanah Pearce in a podcast calling the S the "optical-less Xbox" and predicted the "optical-less PS5" will need to be 299 to compete. The misunderstanding is becoming widespread. So I think Sony needs to set the record straight about the DE value proposition in this showcase, and at the same time announce the price. They must make sure to link the two pieces of information together.
The problem is basically:
- Our console is the least expensive console
- "But how much worse do the games look?"
- Ah... wait....
- Our console is 2.5x more powerful than the competing "least expensive" console
- "But how much does it cost?"
- Ah... wait....
They are still stuck, there's no next-gen footage to compare to establish the value proposition.
Don't ruin my dream!I bet you absolutely nothing that you're way way off
349 is BOLDDDDD
All they have to do is 'pass info'
Have you heard of jeff grub? lol
