I'm surprised at the 400 digital version but not at the 500 disc version, I would have thought 450 and 500 personally.


Definitely waiting for the disc version for a little bit of a better deal. I've never been in a rush for next gen

PS5 Digital Edition is still a better deal compared to the Series S. You get 2x storage and better hardware for $100.

Sure compared to $500 PS5 might not seem insane but I'm sure they took into consideration MS price leak. They could have had it a bit more on both SKUs. Either way $400 PS5 for its entry sku is a great deal considering the PS4 Pro costs that much right now.

Will buy the disc drive version. I'll gain that 100 and more easily through the years by not being locked to buying games only from their store. Digital is fine if you like the convenience and are ready to pay for it. But this pricing makes me think families will wrongly assume they're saving good money...

Yup, I admit...before I was like no way on digital being 399. watching the show and seeing miles on ps4 etc I was like...Yup they are going to do it. It will be sold out for months.

Im more than happy to wait until I can pick up the disk version for cheap. not paying 100 pounds more for a disk drive.
