After:

This is more upsetting to me than their contract ending, they can no longer take credit for the game they've worked on for who knows how long.

Well, apparently PG is not suited for massive games with big budgets, first Scalebound and now this.

If they're still going to be using some of the work and assets Platinum created for this game then this really shitty behavior and Platinum should sue

Platinum should sue Cygames for Platinum changing its own website?

Maybe they just don't want to advertise a game that will no longer generate revenue for them. Chances are, they are not in a profit sharing agreement and prefer to highlight games where sales still matter to them.

There is a difference between not listing something on your website, and not being credited. What matters is that they are in the game's credits.

This whole thread is unnecessarily over dramatic.

CyGames dont care.

Ridiculous take considering the number of games they have shipped.

How many of them big ones? I mean the premise for the critcism was "massive games"

If you didnt want them in your website, why putting them there in the first place?

I fail to see how this is anything but a public statement saying "this didnt go well with them". If it was just regular contract work ending why taking it off or putting it up to begin with?

If they're gonna be listed in the games credits than there is literally no reason for the game to be removed from their website

Uh? CyGames own everything Platinum worked on and can use it as they see fit. That's what contracted work is. The cult of Platinum games haha.

You will find that there are tons of companies working on games that they don't list on their websites (yet still credited for, if for legal reasons alone). Especially if they are no longer even working on it.

Platinum is still a group of mercenaries. They did their job, now it's done. It's not a Platinum game.

Wait a minute isn't that their own website? How do you know they won't credit Platinum in the final products credits?
