Since Onward is coming out later this week, thought it would be a good time to review these 2 animation titans last 10 years and figure out who you think had the stronger output for the last decade.

If there is another animation studio that you think had stronger output this whole decade combined than ever of these two, please post about it as well. I feel you can make a very solid case for a company like Laika, but will need a lot of explaining if you put down a company like Illumination.

- Toy Story 3 and Frozen were the highest grossing films of their respective years (2010 and 2013)
- 7 films have grossed over 1 Billion Dollars, Toy Story 3, Frozen, Finding Dory, Zootopia, Incredibles 2, Toy Story 4 and Frozen II.
- Frozen II is the highest grossing animated movie of all time (Unless you count The Lion King 2019)
- The highest rated Pixar Movie on Rotten Tomatoes from the decade is a tie with Toy Story 3 and Inside Out at 98%. The highest rated Walt Disney Animated Studios Movie on Rotten Tomatoes from the decade is Zootopia at 98%
- The highest rated Pixar Movie on Metacritic from the decade is Inside Out at 94. The highest rated Walt Disney Animated Studios Movie on Metacritic from the decade is Moana at 81
- Pixar has won the Animated Award for Best Animated Feature 5 times this decade (Toy Story 3, Brave, Inside Out, Coco, Toy Story 4)
- Walt Disney Animation Studios has won the Animated Award for Best Animated Feature 3 times this decade (Frozen, Big Hero 6, Zootopia
- Pixar has made 7 Sequels this decade (Toy Story 3, Cars 2, Monsters University, Finding Dory, Cars 3, Incredibles 2, Toy Story 4)
- Walt Disney Animation Studios has made 2 Sequels this decade (Ralph Breaks the Internet, Frozen II). 3 Sequels if you count Winnie the Pooh.
- Cars 2 is the only "Rotten" film on the list. Cars 2 and Cars 3 are the only films with a "Mixed" metascore.
