Then the bomb drops and this person can't even accept the L. First they try laughing it off and then after it was pointed out to them how embarrassing the reaction was they assert that they have nothing to be embarrassed about and projects it on others.

What they don't realize is that there is nothing to be embarrassed about in being wrong about UE5. What's embarrassing is their conduct on policing those who disagreed with them and refusing to accept the L when proven wrong.
