This is my Saint Bernard, Gracie. She's 120 pounds of pure stupid disgusting love, and she likes naps and warm cuddles.

This is Pete. He passed away this morning, unfortunately. It's been a rough day. I keep expecting to see him on the bed when I walk up to the bedroom or begging to play with his string toy.

I have two other cats and a dog I can post later, but obviously with his passing I've got Pete on the brain. I miss him so much already.
Sorry to hear that :( No one should have to lose their kitty.

Pets should be immortal.

I've only known Pete for about 4 years now. He was my wife's cat. Pretty bummed about it, obviously. He had such a distinct personality.

When my little guy who I've had since he was a tiny kitten goes I'm going to be fucking destroyed for weeks probably.

This is Tarquin:

Below are my Italian Greyhounds, Luther (bottom), Lily (top). They are just over 9 months old. At the start of the year my wife and I brought Luther home, and a week later we found out the people who were set to take home Lily (his sister, and littermate) changed their mind because she had a broken tail. When we got wind of that we went and swooped her up. We likely saved Lily from a life of being forced to have puppies (I made a promise to Bob Barker about spaying and neutering my pets, and I kept that promise). The two have meant the world to me and turned me into a dog person.

People don't realize how great greyhounds are as pets. They just like to sleep and cuddle all day.

I love greyhounds so much. I want to get a retired racer someday, not gonna happen anytime soon as it's not recommended for people who have Italian Greyhounds. Apparently the speed and size of Italian Greyhounds can kick in that prey-drive of full size Greyhounds. Such a good looking dog!

Picked this speedy boy up two weeks ago:

His name is Bojack and he's an ex-racing greyhound.

And yes I made sure to adopt him from a place that opposes racing.

This is Luma (named after the mario character), shes 3/4 cavalier 1/4 beagle. Although she looks more cavalier she acts more beagle especially when theres food involved.

My cat, Toby. We rescued him a couple of months back. He used to wander the street where some of my friends lived, underweight and covered in wounds. His original owners just kicked him out onto the street more or less, and it appeared their dogs attacked him if he went into the house so he stayed away. Some of my friends wanted to keep him when they moved away but they can't have pets in the new place, so me and my housemates stepped in. He's doing much better now, only problem is a few scabs/sores and some sort of gastro problem, but he's super affectionate and, apart from pooping, generally well-behaved.

Also you'd be surprised how hard it is to photograph a floofy nearly all black dog. Camera won't always focus, black levels blow. 9/10 are just dog shaped black blurs.

The one from the right I rescued on the Street in 2005, and the one on the left rescued on the street on another city in 2012.

I even have the very first picture I took that was when we found her. My Gf went to pet her and she out of fucking nowhere jumped in my car (I was taking the groceries out) and refused to get out. I was kind of afraid that it was some stray dog that would bite me but on the contrary. One of the sweetest dogs ever, doesnt even bark (only when really excited like going out and stuff)

My granny and Grandpa with her (he passed away this year unfortunately, but lived a long life with 91y)

Will put them all in spoilers or else it will be a long post:

The first picture is outdated, we no longer have the grey & white cat in the picture because he died of heart failure but it is the only picture I have of the other 3 together! The ones we still have are Kali 14 (Calico), Darien 12 (Maine Coon Mix) , Dusty 11 (Siamese) and Rylie 7 (Snowshoe Siamese)

Meet our rescue Zoey.
From what we understand before we adopted her she spent the first 2 years of her life locked up in someones yard before they disposed of her by throwing her out of a moving car.
Shes a good dog and is great at traveling once she wasn't too terrified to step foot in a car.

And because I've had this happen before I am just gonna point out in advance that no, kill markings that show 8 Nazi Germany planes shot down on an American aircraft does not mean the owner likes nazi's.

Here are all 4 of them. My wife has a shih tzu that ran away before we met and made its way back to us after 3 years. Kind of a crazy story, but here they are.
