Biden gets the nom, don't expect support from younger or LatinX, which we will need in the general election. Otherwise it's praying suburban white people have a change of heart and decide to not vote for an orange racist again.
Meh, I'm not worried. Clinton ran an incompetent campaign last time around. Won't happen this time. Americans want to vote Trump out.

Does it work for Biden now? I know those delegates are likely going to head to Biden, but does he have enough time to make it work? He's being outspent and doesn't seem to have the resources at the moment.

The big donors coalescing around one Anti-Bernie should help tremendously on that front.

His campaign organization is a mess, though, and more money isn't guaranteed to fix that. We'll have to see.

There's something unnerving about Trump tweets having vaguely accurate political insight.

finally.

I literally just got a volunteer call from the buttigieg camp asking if I was going to support him, so I wonder if his staff knows.

Seems like a text to me, not a call.

Even if Biden manages to beat Trump he's still the absolute worst Democratic candidate to choose from due to his baggage that's going to just lead to Republicans doing all they can for the next four years of investigating to try and impeach him. They've already been all-in on hammering the Ukraine shit since was deemed the front runner that's just going to continue along with the usual obstruction and underhanded bullshit.

So what happens with the delegates that Buttigieg already got? Does he get to decide who they go to now or what?

The same exact thing will happen to Bernie and any other Dem.

No one will get a pass from the GOP.

I would guess Team Obama would hop on board and fix the organization if he'd get the nomination.

If you don't think Trump won't cook up some similar bullshit fake scandal for Bernie you're mistaken.

I wonder what it feels like to have voted early for these candidates that dropped out?

The angle against Bernie is going to continue to be "socialism is EVIL" as it has been for a while now. They'll go hard on those scare tactics.

I'm putting $200 on Trump if it's Biden.

Probably won't get much, but it's free money.

The problem with Biden is that he absolutely will not swing to the left, considering his stances on a whole lot of issues from crime to the financial industry to health care to legalisation of drugs.

Its basically a "bring back Obama era politics (even though that's literally impossible)" and "vote Trump out" candidate.

But you need enough of them to vote and I don't see that happening. Trump has a very secure base of older white "evangelicals" that will all go out and vote on election day. Will see a groundswell of support for Biden to over take those numbers in key states?

I have my doubts.

Biden has an incredible ability to stick his foot in his mouth at a rate five times higher than a typical candidate. There is no slam dunk candidate right now.
Why are some so afraid of just winning?
Americans wanted Trump out in 2016 too and look what happened
They got a good candidate - Clinton - who ran a horrible campaign and handed the race to Trump? Lol

Seriously though, the country does not like Trump and wants him out. What are we afraid of?

Biden is not losing to Trump.
The pro-Sanders rhetoric is strong here. But some folks really need to step out into more conservative swingier states where folks aren't consuming political media daily, where folks haven't watched every debate. Biden still remains popular and I'm pretty confident he beats Trump in a GE.
