Weird he wouldn't just stick it through Super Tuesday. I wonder if he struck a deal with Biden? I drop out, you get my moderate support, give me VP?

Oh shit.

It would've been better for Bernie if he had stayed around until Super Tuesday at least.

Bernie will, at the very least, now get less California delegates since none of them could clear the 15% mark besides Bernie.

I respect the smartness of the move vs sticking around for no benefit for anyone other than himself.

Buttigieg had the second highest youth vote, right? This could still end up helping Bernie.

Moderates uniting behind Biden, and Pete looking for a role in a possible Biden Administration.

According to morning consult:

Buttigieg SUPPORTERS
Second Choice Selections
Bernie Sanders
21%
Joe Biden/Elizabeth Warren
19%
Michael Bloomberg
17%

So a bit of a wash unless pete endorses Biden.

He's got support from both Bernie and Biden's core groups, but how many of each will go each way remains to be seen. This makes Tuesday much more interesting for Biden supporters though.

I think it's very likely Amy drops out before Super Tuesday, she may have taken a bigger hit than Pete did financially. If Warren doesn't, she'll be out of money after it.
