The mystery continues on what movies Jason Clarke stars in will either be good or bad!

Haven't really kept up with the marketing

Is the idea that there are multiple reanimated kids?

The Metacritic score doesn't instill a ton of confidence, but I'm glad that it's got only positive reviews so far. That's the problem with RottenTomatoes, though, and why it's not so great.

I'm reading the book now in preparation. Seen the previous two movies though, but years ago. I know the first pretty well unfortunately (spoils the book some).

I'm surprised, since the trailers made it look like generic horror. I'm really looking forward to it now.

That poster is amazing.

I can't wait to see this, one of Kings best books and one of the best movies made from his books imo. So that the remake seems good makes me happy as hell.

Pet Semetary is easily my favourite Stephen King book, although I'm not a superfan or anything. I'm hoping this captures that same isolating, spiralling darkness the original novel has.

Sounds good, Pet Sematary I found to be one of King's scariest novels and the whole sequence after
their son's death
fucked me up for a while.

Well that's unexpected.

I thought it would be better than the original movie, not hard, as that was pretty poor, I did not expect this to actually be decent, pleasantly surprised.

People were downing this hard after the second trailer. Good to see things are looking up for it for now.

The first movie terrified me like nothing else ever has, I saw it way too young, like 8 years old. Now that I'm old and mature enough to appreciate watching something that traumatised me as a kid, I'm a father and can't imagine watching it due to the subject matter alone.

That's a cool version of the cover. It seems to be inspired to the artwork on the first edition of the novel:

I haven't realized Lithgow gives off some Fred Gwynne vibes, good casting pick. I wonder if there is a reference or cover of The Ramone's song in the movie.
