I gotta ask...why is everyone so sure this won't happen? I mean if Horizon is going to PC, why is this game weird?

Because Atlus is pretty much the only major Japanese 3rd party game developer at this point that doesn't support PC (other than Catherine Classic which was more Sega's doing). And because Atlus is weird in that most of their games these days are on Nintendo platforms except for the main Persona games which are on Sony platforms so people think there might be a behind-the-scenes exclusivity deal there.

On the other hand, pretty much every other Japanese developer is supporting PC these days and their parent company has a strong PC presence, so I imagine it's only a matter of time before Atlus games start showing up on PC.

I have an easier time believing Days Gone and GT Sport coming to PC than fucking Atlus of all companies coming to their senses.

I'd love to know more about the relationship between SEGA and ATLUS. Despite being acquired by SEGA who's been port-happy recently, they seem to have retained a lot of autonomy.

Atlus has never done a modern PC port of any of their games themselves.
The idea that the first non - PlayStation platform for a mainline Persona game to appear on since P1 is P5 on PC is doubtful to say the least.

Ok now I don't believe it. There's no way Atlus is putting Persona on anything but Playstation.

Why did mainline Persona never come to a Nintendo platform then? Conversely, why doesn't Playstation get mainline SMT games anymore?

Guess I'll put off unsealing my P5R copy for another couple weeks in case anything comes of this.

I believed Days Gone, but I don't believe this one for a second.

I'd love to be proven wrong though.

Real or not, I just want to state that I would buy it day one. Right now I am trying to decide if getting Royal is worth it. I enjoyed vanilla P5, but haven't looked into what Royal brings to the table yet.
