It's nice to have all of the older nick shows in one spot instead of half being on Hulu, some being on VRV, etc.
It is. It'll update your CBS All Access app but now it's listed as Paramount+. It's the same app but renamed.

You get a logo change and a few new shows added for your trouble. Same garbage app as always.
After such a massive marketing campaign with Super Bowl ads and everything, I was expecting something a bit more than just a CBS -> Paramount logo change.
Boggles my mind how this service (CBS All Access) launched in 2014 and there's still not a watch list feature 7 years later. That's like a day one requirement for any streaming service.

That's my thoughts. I was really hoping it would at least add a watch list. Until they do I will not stop calling it a garbage app to everyone I know lol.
Sports line 18 months for $25 total, just search it up and you'll find it
I only got it thanks to the Sportsline deal when it was $10 and no watch list would have been a deal breaker otherwise. I also didn't know it's been 7 years and they haven't added the most basic feature that every single competitor has. That's insane and it's also the reason I haven't been too inclined to watch anything on the app.
Kind of looking forward to rewatching a few more episodes of DS9 and Voyager on here later this evening. It's a weird feeling, I mean, it's just a rebranding. But it feels different. Paramount and Star Trek were synonymous for so long.

For anybody else having trouble with a roku tv ( I have a tcl P series)
I couldn't log into the app. Also apparently password reset is not working for me even on PC.
I tried to login to Sportsline since my subscription is through them and it no longer even shows a sub for CBS. I was pretty worried.
What I had to do:
Manually update your software in the settings on your tv. Restart your tv.
At that point when I accessed the app I didn't even need to login in, it just logged in with my old info same as with All Access.

the app broke with the change. no update, no way to log in as your account is no longer a cbs all access account it's a paramount+ account. thus when you updated the app it fixed it.
Yeah that makes sense. I will note though that the app said Paramount + and NOT CBS All Access.
Thankfully it was an autoupdate once I selected to update software. So I'm assuming the app would have updated on its own eventually.
However, on my Mom's Vizio television the app just changed and she logged in without issues, but I'm assuming it was autoupdated while my app just hadn't yet.

haha, that's fine and good. Wanted to rewatch the old movies after I finished watching the original Shatner episodes.
For whatever reason, this is the only app I use on my Xbox One X that doesn't recognize the media keys on my media remote. I can't forward/rewind with their dedicated buttons, I have to hold either the left or right arrows on the remote. A shame too, because the content itself, especially on the animated side, is incredible imo.

This has been my favorite thing about paramount plus, I had been watching it on Netflix and there are only 2 seasons on there.
I was happily surprised to see like 10 seasons on paramount! I didn't even know the show has been running that long!
Also paramount plus seems to run better on my ps4 compared to cbs all access which half the time would get stuck on a loading screen or ad
Would you mind checking out the picture quality on Picard on Discovery on Roku when you get a chance? Those two shows appear washed out and very soft on my Roku player. Other original shows look fine, but those two look bad. They looked fine on CBS All Access on Roku until a week or so ago and then they changed. I assumed it was part of the P+ transition.
Yeah, definitely doesn't seem as clear as it should be for a new release. Washed out seems accurate. But, I have a 2017 so I'm not exactly on the cutting edge at this point.
Thanks. I wonder if it is because those shows are 1080p with Dolby Vision enabled? 4K content like the Spongebob movie looks fine with DV enabled, as does 1080p content without DV enabled, but the 1080p content with DV like Discovery and Picard look off.

Same. Watched the first 2 on Netflix and then I was bored and Amazon had CBS for 5 bucks so I got it and bam! Wish the last two were on here but good enough. Makes me want a tattoo...
To be clear this is 50% off the Sportsline subscription, so 50 bucks for a year (not sure if the 18 month trick is also dead)which is still better than 100 bucks for commercial free for a year. But I think there are also codes for 50% off the regular price without having to go through sportsline.
I've had CBS All Access for years at the premium tier, mainly for Survivor and Big Brother. I can't say I see any difference aside from the logo with the service, but I love that the rebrand and paramount mountain ad campaign appears to be working if a thread like this now exists.
Wonder Showzen is now streaming on Paramount+, finally bringing something of worth to this service. Can't wait to watch it all this weekend.
I watch this morning with the biggest smile on my face. I didn't watch the original season when it came out but I got very into The Real World as a teenager and went back. This is the first show that will really make me engage abd watch weekly on this service.
