Someone tell me to focus and keep going on bloodlines. Loved what I played but put it down.

Yeah, I thought about adding that, but I wanted to have people have some fun with it. I'll add it to the title as some may be interested in it due to the fact this almost definitely an ARG for a new Vampire: The Masquerade game.
It's the worst kept secret ever, lol. People suspected it just from the app being called 'Tender'.Yeah, I thought about adding that, but I wanted to have people have some fun with it. That said, even knowing what it's likely about, there's a lot to dig into here.
I'll merge the threads, I did a search but didn't find anything. Thanks for noting.Era actually did have a thread on this ARG

And a follow up once it became more clear what it was (along with the GDC tease)

Going to be 3D for sure. they have released a bunch of location shots that are clearly in game and are too modern graphics wise to be from the original bloodlinesHyped about a new Vampire game. Hesitant to be too hyped because we know nothing about this one. Is it a remake, a sequel or a spin-off? Is it just Vampire or is it World of Darkness? Who's developing it?
Also, if this is a fully 3D first/third-person RPG ala Bloodlines, it will likely be the most expensive game Paradox has ever funded. They've almost exclusively funded strategy games and isometric CRPGs.
Sadly, this greatly increases the chances of it being an EGS exclusive. Paradox will want to mitigate the risks as much as possible and taking a generous bribe from EGS is an easy way to do that.
Wow, didnt realize that pun!
Picture two looks like one of the last sequences of the Ocean House mission. Three on the other hand, reminds of that abandoned building in Downtown where you confront the Tzimisce for the last time.

Oh, good, I'm not the only one who thought that second pic looked like the hotelPicture two looks like one of the last sequences of the Ocean House mission. Three on the other hand, reminds of that abandoned building in Downtown where you confront the Tzimisce for the last time.
i hope they won't sanitize it or change it too much. jeanette for example is a character that many people in 2019 would raise an eyebrow about her design.
But if they are making a remaster or remake of Bloodlines, then why is there Pacific Tower in one of the screens/concept arts?
The original game is both kind of niche and a cult classic. Introducing it to new generations would probably go a long way to paving the way for a new entry.I'm going to be disappointed if it's a remake, honestly. There's countless new stories to be told.
I guess, but the original is also a classic, and still very replayable. Reading 5E has me hyped for a game to tackle the story of the Second Inquisition as a setting. The original game is both kind of niche and a cult classic. So from what I'm reading and the way this lore is all set up, along with my own chatting to the bot...
BetrayedMind1 / Manchuria is a woman, and expert on artificial intelligence. Her and her friend "Jobe" built TENDER, a dating program using utilising Manchuria's PEGML algorithm. PEGML analyses your behaviour and attempts to connect with the user on an emotional level, forming a detailed profile of the individual, and assisting them with finding partners that they can connect with on a deeper level.
Their program and work was acquired by Malcolm Chandler, a venture capitalist. Shortly afterwards BetrayedMind1 was outed from the company, betrayed by Jobe, who became obsessed with and fixated on Malcolm, and assisted the latter in isolating and removing BetrayedMind1.
Further digging into the software nuances shows TENDER tracks individuals via a TENDER Bracelet, and profiles their blood type, "freshness", and the last time they were "tapped". Leaked documents profiling people also reference PROJECT CHIMERA, wherein individuals go through a number of trials including exposure to chemicals, ASMR, stress, etc.
BetrayedMind1 since lives off the grid, moving around and utilising disposable hardware to unravel TENDER. She contributes to https://www.trustnomore.com/, a conspiracy theorist website aimed at unravelling various conspiracies.
I think, taking Vampire lore, it's obvious that Malcolm is a vampire and Jobe became his ghoul.

People don't just think that, it requires one to actually run on modern PCs (at least last time I checked) and to fix issues with stuff like a blurry UI.I'm honesty hoping for a remake. Put it out on consoles too. Seeing as how the original is a decades old PC-only game that most people think requires a fan patch in order to play properly... that's a barrier to entry that a lot of people just aren't willing to hop over.
