No game stopped working becuase of the 2ds
This is just a prediction yes? He isn't implying any specific insight?
This.
Exactly, there is no reason to make it be unable to dockI mean, sell it bare-bones dockless for $200 and be done. Why take away the functionality of being able to hook it up to a TV?
Until I see it I won't believe any rumor of a handheld only Switch. It goes completely against the brand and goal of the Switch. What would the point of a Switch that doesn't actually switch even be?
That's hardly the same thing.
Just a Switch in a smaller retail packaging minus the dock. $229 or even $199 is feasible.
He knows things, it's only when it comes to Nintendo that he's clueless. He does not understand at all their market, their target audience, the brand particularity.
I'm assuming he is referring to the revision Switch releasing this year
That's like the opposite of handheld only and it's not cheaper

I'd say they'll release a console only Switch and PS4/Xbox One will get price increases. So does that mean they won't release it and PS4/Xbox One won't get a price cut?
There cant be a handheld only switch because some games require seperate joycons like super Mario party
3D was never important to the success of the console in any way, shape, or form.
He should be a prime member of Vg****
Yeah, and does Nintendo still require account transfers like they did with the 3DS?I mean, sell it bare-bones dockless for $200 and be done. Why take away the functionality of being able to hook it up to a TV?
That's not KoopaSwitch's point though... Nintendo sells the damn thing for $60 and the AC adapter for $30. HDMI cable too. So there's your ~$100.The dock is a cheap-ass plastic shell that's almost worthless. There's no more than $5 worth of material in it.
After the 2DS, that played 3DS branded games, I don't think name confusion matters to them.
