Let's imagine this trends continues (in a near or distant future), what would you like to be the next Microsoft's dormant franchise to return ? (and which 1st-party or 3rd-party developer would be the best fit for this)

It has to be Banjo-Kazooie sometime this generation right? I cant think of really any other IP revival they haven't committed to yet that gets as much demand.

My dream was Fable and Perfect Dark. So Im content with what we've got.

But Banjo needs to be next.

Fusion Frenzy is a Xbox party game that makes sense and fills in a void. They could use characters from Xbox IP's and avatars as well as online multiplayer and cross-platform play with PC.

I'd love to see a new MechAssault but there is seemingly some sort of legality/copyright issues there so I guess it's unlikely to happen but a man can dream.

Viva Piñata is their best dormant IP. Banjo Kazooie is fun, but it is 90's magic that will never be recaptured.

The move that would make then the more money would be to turn Jet Force Gemini in Gears of War for the fortnite crowd

That being said, yeah I want some 3D platformer of the bear and bird variety

Viva Piñata, absolutely.

I assume Capcom owns Steel Battalion, but damn if I wouldn't love a new Steel Battalion game with a weird ass controller and updated visuals and sweet multiplayer.

Had more fun with Voodoo Vince than any Banjo tbh if talking 3D platformers. We need more games with jazz too.

Phantom Dust was also incredible and unique. I'd mostly want it for single player though and I doubt a new game would have that focus.

Links 2003 is still by far the best golf game ever made. No contest. We can still play that one, and there is basically infinite courses for it, but still. They should make another one and do it properly, even if Access is long gone. Get some of that fancy cloud technology in there.

Madness Games

Remember those? Ahh, good ol' pre-Xbox Microsoft Game Studios. Do another Motocross Madness. Let us zip around moon landscapes, climb world boundaries, and get shot all over the map. Heck, even Monster Truck Madness would be fun, even if the old games in that series were kinda bad.
