Yeah I just called and they said it happens all the time and they just cross check each ballot as they get them but I don't know...I don't want to take any chances. I might just take them to the polling booth so they can be voided and just vote in person. Or request another ballot.

I keep telling him she's just a republican with weed, but the pro weed is the only part he cares about, even though shes worse than a lot of republicans. I cannot believe my ultra liberal/ socialist sister married him.
That's the dream! And hopefully enough votes are in that they can announce the results w/o needing to wait several days.
You can see if your ballot was accepted and counted on the website. If it isn't counted you should be able to get a new ballot sent to you or just brave it in person.

A good amount of my indifferent, voter apathetic childhood friends finally registered to vote. Due to living in NY, and generally struggling with various forms of depression, they had an attitude of not caring, but once Pence sidestepped the climate change threat to our species question, and focused on money as his answer, that sealed the deal for them to vote Biden. I hope this personal anecdote made someone feel confident, been waiting for them to come around once it finally clicked that their descendants lives are on the line...

This is going to start becoming more of an issue as the parties align more and more by gender. I've met many women who say that seeing either someone as a non-voter or Republican on a dating app or just dating in general is an immediate no for them. As more women turn liberal or vote Democratic and the gender gap widens, it is going to be harder for Republican men to date or marry in many places in the country.

My current girlfriend says that one of the main reasons she matched with me is because I said I supported Warren in my bio.
It should ramp up to more than that fast. I wouldn't be surprised to see a 3-4 million a day during peak.

Interesting yeah a lot of women just seeing conservatives as pretty toxic for them.

the closer we get to the election, the more i believe this to be the case. I think those very, very extremely vocal trumpers tend to make it feel like there's a whole lot more of them

No, it just means those voters aren't registered as Republicans or Democrats.
Per the last page, that's just voters without a party affiliation, not third party voters.

PhoenixERA here, just voted an hour ago! Slam dunked that motherfucker! Went smooth, fast, and safe! All the poll workers had masks and/or face shields, enforcing social distancing, separated used pens from new ones, etc. They were doing a great job.
Got my ballot in the mail here in Iowa the other day, gonna take all my willpower not to vote for Kanye. I'll be filling it out tonight and dropping it off in the mail tomorrow.

Did you mail yours in? I think it's counted immediately if you put it in a drop box, but if received by mail, it won't be counted until starting 2 weeks before the election. I might be incorrect, but that's what I remember seeing.
