Ordered some pizza from a local joint with the ever-so-common name "I <3 New York Pizza." One of the slices I requested is a speciality buffalo chicken gig. It's quite good but legit tastes like they used Flamin' Hot seasoning rather than buffalo sauce.
But surely that can't be right...

They just changed the recipe for Flamin' Hot Lays. The new bags say "Now Even HOTTER". But they're not. They're not nearly as hot. And they taste different. They have a bit of a tang now, like they added lime.
They're okay, but the old ones were my favorite for years. Why do they have to fuck up things that are already perfect?

that was from a pickup order I made at a Walmart, one of the few places that seem to stock the mac and cheese regularly
Flamin' Hot Kettle Cooked are fantastic, but I didn't know there was also a Lime variant available. I'm going to have to get a bag of those!

Flamin' Hot is a flavor not quite like any other. It's not the hottest flavor around, but it's got a roundness and burn that makes it very easy to keep eating and enjoy. It can be a very addictive flavor. Found primarily on Cheetos, they can also been seen/tasted on a great many things!

Heck, you can even find it on some frozen foods.
My Odyssey is a simple one. Find, eat, and talk about as many Flamin' Hot products as caninely possible.

Flamin Hot stuff is good. Not as abrasive as Takis seasoning is, or Mexican spiced snacks (since they contain lime they make my teeth HURT), and they just have that signature taste.

Just found these near me, and I gotta say they're pretty good.
they're in their own display at my walgreens across the street
I found some at Walmart, but not in the chip aisle, instead on a display case, like an end cab display showing them off

I wish I'd known this thread existed. I've been advocating on Twitter somewhat about Lay's changing the Flamin' Hot recipe to something that tastes kinda nasty. Advice to anyone who feels the same way: Try WalMart's Great Value Burnin' Hot chips. Not EXACTLY the same, but incredibly close and scratches that itch.
I knew I wasn't crazy. My wife kept saying that we didn't get these a few weeks back but I know what I ate. Those chips are glorious. Haven't been able to find them since.
Those Great Value Burnin' Hot chips are a lot like Herr's Red Hot chips in flavor, I really like them.

these dont seem to have a lot flavor to them. they feel really flat. not sure if normal or i got a bad bag. i wish they had a bit more cheetos dust because they are close to the jays copycat flamin hots i use to buy which i loved.
