ive sworn by monoprice for like 15 years at this point, they have never let me down
there just seems to be a lot of issues/confusion with the full 4k 120 capability of alot of cables, companies are saying HDMI 2.1 but they arent living up to spec

If you think that's bad, try to get long Thunderbolt 3 or USB-C 3.2 2x2 cables.ive sworn by monoprice for like 15 years at this point, they have never let me down

Just repurchased Valhalla after refunding it at launch (due to corrupt save bug). Plays and looks great, honestly I found the cinematics more impressive with CyberpunkThose of you playing Valhalla, has performance stabilized on the series X with the patches? Also, do you feel like it is a real showpiece for the hardware? I'm pretty done with the overly long Ubisoft open world game formula, but now it's on sale and if it is amazing looking I could put some time into it.
So-so, but decent. What's the quality like on those? I've heard decent Amazon and Ikea reviews.
Hey yall is there a definitive source to buy replacement HDMI 2.1 cables from?
There are obviously tons on Amazon but the reviews are all over the place and I dont trust them. Yes I know Vincent did the video with that one, but Im just curious if anyone has found an alternative. I need longer than the cord in the box.
got this too , because i put my external as default installation and when i remote start a download, if its a Serie s/x game it will be on both for meI'm having multiple games get a patch and copy itself onto both my internal and external hdd. What gives.
that is my exact same fear as well.I've been struggling with a 99% full hard drive since Week 1, and I really wanna cave and buy the 1TB Expansion Card, but part of me also knows in a year, they'll release a 2 TB Expansion Card for the same price. Paying $219 for 1 TB isn't worth it. :'(
Yeah I use energized rechargeable batteries and have been for years. I bought a fresh 8 pack when I got the XSX and the battery life is still insane. I'm getting about 20 hours out of each charge and I have a fully charged pair of AAs ready to go when the rumble shuts off on my controller. So, I returned my busted Xbox Play & Charge kit now and got myself something else.
What the fuck was I thinking in the first place with the Play and Charge kit. The P&C kit has a 1400mah battery for 22€.
For 18!€ I could buy myself this now.
16 rechargable batteries, each of them with 2000!mah power. That's like 10 times the value or so. Jesus, now I really wish the PS5 controller also had no build in battery, that's so much better, it's insane.

Easiest? Samsung T5/T7 or the SanDisk Portable 1TB/2TB.Looking to get a 2tb ssd for non Optimized and Fast transfers fir storage. What is a good option.

The ones that say 525MB/s do more than enough. It's still a 3.0/3.1 Gen1/3.2 Gen 1 port on the Series X/S.
It's almost the same price ¯\_(ツ)_/¯Its cheaper to buy a stand alone non portable SSD and simply put it into a ssd caddy. It wont need an external power source as USB power is sufficient.
Not in the UK they aren't...
Oof true, it's cheaper that way there :(
theres no cost efficiency from what ive seenIts cheaper to buy a stand alone non portable SSD and simply put it into a ssd caddy. It wont need an external power source as USB power is sufficient.
Yeah, its a shame as it would otherwise be great way to do it.
Generally the 2tb portable ones are around £250 to £300 and stand alone are down nearer the £200 mark. USB3.0 Caddy costs £7.49
You can print a copy of the receipt and gift it in an envelope 👀Man the Series X bundle is still available on GameStop. Maybe they should realize a $735 bundle not arriving before Christmas isn't the best idea?
WARNING: For MK11 ultimate you have to manually install the story mode. Go to manage installation for the game, select Story and Story 4k (for those with 4k tvs)
I installed the game twice because I couldn't access the story mode and I thought it was a bug
I don't play enough games to merit the extra storage. I'm playing cyberpunk and ac. Those are the only games that need to be on the ssd now
I mean yeah. If you download everything, I'm sure you'll run out of space. But when you do the math on what you actually play regularly, you have wayyyyy more than enough. And tbh, quick resume mitigates much of the downsides of installing to an externalHDD.
I have 15 Game Pass titles installed and I'm only about half full on storage. And of those 15, I never play more than 5 or so games at a time, so while I'm sympathetic to those who run out of space it's something I've never been able to relate to.
Forza Horizon 4 is a must if you haven't played that yet. Tetris Effect is also cool.Picking up my XSX tomorrow! Gonna update Borderlands, just got the DLC today with the live sale. Just got Ultimate, any must-have games that I should give a shot? Haven't played Sea of Thieves or Gears of War (But I have never played a GoW game...).
If you have a friend with an Xbox play through all the gears campaigns co-op (Ultimate which is a remastered version of 1 then 2, 3 Judgement, 4 and finally 5). They're super quick to get through and extremely fun.Picking up my XSX tomorrow! Gonna update Borderlands, just got the DLC today with the live sale. They didn't say anything about making bigger sizes although they hinted that we may see more vendors selling additional storage solutions (i.e. someone other than Seagate).Anyone know if there are plans to make bigger size expansion cards for next year? Already running out of space but I feel like an extra 1tb won't be enough for the future.
I am and pretty much the default as I haven't messed with the settings. In game, I sometimes have to set it to surround/5.1/7.1 when I got my wireless headset on.Anybody using Dolby Atmos for headphones here and if so what are your settings?
You're better off buying an external USB SSD and moving content that can be played there to it.Anyone know if there are plans to make bigger size expansion cards for next year? Already running out of space but I feel like an extra 1tb won't be enough for the future.
So-so, but decent.
Eneloops are the top tier to beat.
IKEA used to sell effectively rebranded Eneloops but seems that's not a thing anymore.
mine does the same thing, it's apparently a known issue. i know, i know, reddit but there's some decent information hereI noticed that the right trigger on series controller has gotten very loud with a real noticeable click while my still left has the soft sounding thud. Anyone else?
Hmm, my ain't sticking though. It has just become really loud. Hopefully it won't start sticking as well 😬mine does the same thing, it's apparently a known issue. i know, i know, reddit but there's some decent information here

it's probably happening for the same reason as my trigger sticking i.e. the cheap trigger pad w/ cheap glueHmm, my ain't sticking though. It has just become really loud. Hopefully it won't start sticking as well 😬
Yeah, I checked my Amazon purchase history, and I bought mine in March 2015. Still going strong!Ive had eneloops sitting in a drawer for 5 years and they all still have full charges. They are amazing.
