No - I went for an XSX on all access - £20.99 a month for 24 months (on top of GPU sub) isn't massively more than XSS. I have a 4k TV and wanted to use it. But it'll be a gamepass machine like your usage describes
Looks like I'm gonna be using the Ribbons theme as soon as it's unlocked. Anyone with a console already know if the themes are part of the day one update?

Over the last gen I had multiple Xbox's but have since sold them. When I go to install a game remotely, it gives me the option to install to two consoles which I don't have anymore.
I've logged into my Microsoft account and there's no Xbox's in there to delete. Any idea how I can get rid of them? I'd prefer to just have my new Series X in there as I think it's trying to automatically download games to one of those two consoles.

Jealous of everyone getting to experience the next gen so soon. I was lucky enough to get a PS5 preorder in, but hopefully some Xboxes will be on shelves soonish...
I just can't imagine latency improvements being that noticeable (im sure it is) but I can't wrap my mind around how much better it could be.

Then click on the device you want to remove, and in the top area there should be a "Manage" button with the option to remove the console you no longer own.
Went to a Mediamarkt in my small town. They had the consoles labeled with a sheet of paper so that everything was in order. Took me about 7 minutes going in, grabbing one, paying and leaving.
Unfortunately I gotta teach my class in the early afternoon. I half expect the postman to ring the bell just during class. That would be cruel. Sort of like that "I have to do this but I really want to do something else RIGHT NOW" impulse XD Anyway... Trying to finish up everything else work-related beforehand though!
Not sure if it's worth it for the enhanced games, copying them back to the Series X still requires a huge download on top to "upgrade" then. For old stuff that's just boost mode is fine though.
Can't seem to find the answer anywhere. I'm getting my console tomorrow morning, but I'd like to preload Series X games on my One X. Is it worth it to download cross-gen games to transfer over like Valhalla? Will it update with a patch? Or should I just wait to download since it'll be a separate thing?
Doing it this way I'll have the most important games on the external ready to get moved onto the SSD.
Otherwise I'd have to download all of them and I might forget one or two...
I got my series X and a copy of Yakuza from EB a couple hours ago. Was messing around with quick resume and other games and decided it was time to install Yakuza. Opened the case and there was no disc inside? Great.

Agh I hate that MS Store went with stupid FedEx. Tracking says it's in TN since yesterday afternoon, I'm in IA. Impossible that they're delivering it in less than 12 hours as they claim?
