Great decade, but I will say, my overall list is definitely pretty stilted toward the earlier years.

2010: Super Mario Galaxy 2 - best of the decade. Mass Effect 2 with a special shout out as my 2nd or 3rd favorite of the generation.
2011: Portal 2 - also the other the second or third of 7th generation.
2012: Hotline Miami? Pretty crap year honestly.

2014: DKC: Tropical Freeze - criminally underselling
2015: Splatoon

2018: toss up between Spider-Man and God of War

Out of this list I'd probably say Yakuza 5 was the game I hold in the highest regard, followed closely by RDR2 and Stardew Valley. 2016 was the hardest to pick, with DOOM 2016, Xcom 2, Dishonored 2, and INSIDE all being absolutely amazing.

Stick of Truth was a really good game in a slow year, and it scratched the Paper Mario itch. Also you can see the Switch consume my playing time towards the end of the decade. Overall GOTD is New Vegas. GOAT WRPG.

To expound I guess, From have absolutely dominated the decade. Best devs of the decade for me. Sekiro would be my 2019 GOTY but DMC5 just plays too well. 2017 was the hardest year to pick. Persona 5, NieR and Tekken are all good shouts but Future tone holds a special place in my heart right now (I played it in 2018). 2011-14 and 2018 were my personal weakest years as the games there wouldnt make my top 25 unlike the other years.

2018 in particular I feel like I should revisit a couple of games from that year. I feel like my GOTY list there would change quite a bit now.

Fire Emblem caught me off guard too. Hadnt played one apart from a pair on GBA. Three Houses ended up being my most played game this year as a whole. Really really good game.

2014 - The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth - roguelikes are not usually my thing, but BoI got almost 200 hours of my life

2015 - Life is Strange - touching, brave, unforgettable

2016 - Uncharted 4/INSIDE - another impossible choice, two extremes of the industry regarding budget, both unmissable

2017 - Assassin's Creed Origins - finally the full realization of the AC series, a world i got completely lost in

2018 - Minit - a beautiful, perfect clockwork mechanism that is exactly the right length and size

2019 - Control - so far nothing this year has reached the sheer amount of enjoyment that this has given me
