One Piece operates on Kingdom Hearts levels of sentience. Souls, shadows, willpower and hearts all exist as tangible entities within a person. If Moria steals your shadow, can Big Mom still steal your soul?

You know what else is amazing? Nutella and Peanut Butter. It's one of the most perfect combinations in existence.
I don't know who that's supposed to be but i commend you for your food choice because peanut butter honey sandwiches ruleI had a peanut butter and honey sandwich and then a cuppa soup. Which family member is that?
PB, chocolate spread, bananas, and raspberry jam in between three slices of bread
It's two sandwiches, pb & j and nutella & bananas, sharing a common slice of bread. You could even go further and add a honey & peanut butter sandwich to it.Bro you wildin that ain't a sandwich that's some crazy foreign delicacy that just happens to include bread and spreads

How comes?
Does Tact mean something specific in this case? I may just have not understood the name. What I don't get about early Viz translations is when they change the name of something clearly in English.
Like how they call Nami's Clima-Tact a "Climate Baton". Like what's the logic?
Seriously, One Piece needs a major translation overhaul from Volume 1. Same with Dragon Ball.
Elbaph gets to me. What was wrong with spelling it as 'Elbaf?'However the one bizarre one that stands out to me every time is "Ponegliff" instead of "Poneglyph." That just makes the concept more confusing as -glyph is a common suffix for carved symbols in English while -gliff is a nothing nonsense spelling

I personally think Viz does a pretty good job on like 90% of the decisions, especially their proper nouns and titles all feel very piratey and fairy tale-like in a way scans rarely capture. However the one bizarre one that stands out to me every time is "Ponegliff" instead of "Poneglyph." Aaah yes I love this, guys.Elbaph gets to me. What was wrong with spelling it as 'Elbaf?'
Sometimes, you're alright.
I'm ok with this take. What is your thoughts on Peanut Buttercups?
Masterclass of chocolate and pbI'm ok with this take. What is your thoughts on Peanut Buttercups?
Probably one of the weirdest chefs out there with my feelings on food lol. Direct opposite of how I cook it is usually how I feel lol.
I think it's the translator trying to validate his work, since he doesn't want to just copy and paste what the scan groups already doWhat I don't get about early Viz translations is when they change the name of something clearly in English.
