Oohh this sounds like a great solution for using discord while playing games on console.
Is there a headset that will work for a ps5 and Xbox series x as seamless as possible?
Yes.99.99?! Atmos!? Wireless!?
Was looking to get a bluetooth headset, and I might get this one, damn.
I assume this will work on W10?
Damn, the Xbox media team is a sneaky bunch.
I wish they'd enable all Bluetooth headphones work. I have the Sony WH-1000XM4s and only way I can use it is by connecting it to the controller.
I don't know if it's new to this gen or they had it on XB1, but I've seen several Xbox headsets that do this. The Turtle Beach 700 Gen 2 does it, and also apparently has great audio. But it's 50 more than this.woah it'll connect to both phone and xbox at the same time? that's wild
Have had nothing but issues on my Xbox wireless protocol Arctic 9xs, before switching to the 7xs with zero issues. I wonder how these will compare quality wise to the 7x's especially at $99.
what am i missing
Can I ask what the story on the Pulse is?As a Pulse headset buyer, and then returner, I agree. Looks like MS put some actual thought into these. Hopefully they sound good.
Damn, just bought the Arctis 7x a month ago!!! Looks and sounds like a nice set though.
I think I've made the design to stick with wired headset with mic (Fidelio X2HR) because the sound quality is great and I can still use between PC / PS5. I still also have my Wireless Gold's in the event that I just really like using that and they still work fine.
This would have to have perfect reviews for me to be tempted enough to buy this.... something I entirely don't need.
Welp people should start analyzing more any random media MS release.
Just a reminder you will need to purchase a license for Dolby Atoms. It's $14.99Yep, pre-ordered.
$99 for wireless/BT + Dolby Atmos is nuts. I have zero problem being an early-adopting guinea pig at that price.
Doesn't the Dolby Atmos/DTS.X work with any old headphones as long as you have the license?Just a reminder you will need to purchase a license for Dolby Atoms. It's $14.99
I had the PS4 one, Gold I think (but headset was blue). Sound was great but construction quality was so terrible it was 80% duct tape by the end
I'm also using the Fidelio X2HR, but can't quite shake the temptation of wireless' convenience. I'll see how it reviews I think.
How do you connect your X2HR to the Xbox? Straight into the controller or via a DAC?
