This is actually a good point. I wonder if we'll see fewer "good" sales on digital stores this gen because there will be people locked into digital. I was fully onboard with paying less but this got me thinking.Precisely why I'm going for the disk version. Physical game prices will fall fast in comparison. With so many locked into digital only they're not going to lower digital prices.
Greed. Why the fuck do Europeans have to pay more than Americans for the same games???
For me as I might go all digital whenever I get a PS5, I'll just wait for the first decent sale. PS4 made me realise there's no need to rush for launch and I've got too many games already...
Not interested in the mental game pricing - I'm sure that will fix itself in the market anyway.

Where the increase will be the most felt is digitally. Most games are 59.99€ now digitally, a 33% increase is a lot and raises question about whether the DE is a good deal.
Didn't that come with an accessory.
Is not a typo, PS4 games in europe already cost 70€, its a 10€ increase for next gen games. Not all games will be that price though. Spider-Man MM costs 60€, Sackboy Adventures costs 70€, Demon's Souls costs 80€.
What a bunch of fucking bullshit. The AAA game industry makes more money every year. There's absolutely no justifiable reason to increase the price.
No, we've been paying 70€ for a while now. Now both Europe and America get a price bump because fuck Europe.Hold up. Euro games were 1:1 with the USD price before, right? So why is the jump for Euro 60 -> 80 but it's $60 -> $70 in the US? Damn.
That's absolutely true!
