I don't think their big franchises will go exclusive but most likely will go day one to gamepass, which is far better.
I never said that. I don't like this move because I've always said that 3rd party companies should remain 3rd party companies. I don't like moves like this as it hurts gamers. We saw what happened with Street Fighter V.You don't like this move only because Sony might do something like this?
You're fine with Microsoft doing this though? comical.
No one should want the larger studios stuck under platform holders.
the teams that are now with MS as a result of the acquisition:
In case there was any doubt, Microsoft is really serious about becoming the Netflix of gaming. (Bethesda acquisition). Microsoft and Bethesda offerings guaranteed, plus that EA deal they did recently.
Wouldn't total dominance of the industry mean they no longer had to worry about being pro-consumer?I see this as the first domino to fall before Microsoft's total dominance of the industry. Once Sony is out of the way is when Microsofts real pro consumer moves will come.
Apparently Bethesda will continue publishing. Read Pete Hines' message.
MS releases games on switch all the time
There's nobody left for Sony to buy that could ever come close to matching this. A cruddy little port team like Bluepoint? Come on.
Like Microsoft basically went for the absolute jugular here and Sony's got no way of countering it.
Really, this is incredible, one of the biggest acquisitions I've ever seen in this industry.
MS was like "Deathloop not on Xbox? Hell nah"
Aren't preorders going up in 16 hours or so?Two days before pre-orders for the new consoles go up...
It's amazing how different the brand looks today compared to the launch of Xbox one. With Game Pass Ultimate I don't think I'll be buying many games anymore. Insane.
No, they are plenty. Sony doesn't have the money like MS, though. There's nobody left for Sony to buy that could ever come close to matching this. A cruddy little port team like Bluepoint? Come on.
