We have a thread for the amazing marble racing that is Marbula One.

So this is a thread for Youtube-channels with well produced content, that has a subject matter that may not immediatly strike you as interesting but keeps you clicking on every new video.

So what other hidden gems are there?

Let me start by giving some examples that I enjoy.

The Survival - They build some amazing stuff without using any technology (if you don't count wooden sticks and clay).

Lockpicking Lawyer - so you thought you were safe?

Brad Hall - the review-brah for sneakers.

Company Man is a pretty interesting Youtube channel that goes into the history of various companies and brands you may or may not have heard of. He talks about their ups and downs, why some are failing, why others have rebounded, etc. He doesn't get bogged down in numbers too often and I find it kind of facinating. I've learned a lot about various companies that I never would have guessed otherwise.

Mine definitely sides more on the entertainment side, but when I've had an edible or two, I love to watch Pitch Meetings on Screenrant. It's their only good content.

Forgotten Weapons. There's something satisfying about the channel showing off and detailing about weapons that are not widely popular

I have watched Goodnight Moon's Babblebrook series more times than I would care to admit and have even found myself contemplating doing some fan art for it. Fan art...for ASMR.

Ashens easily. I checked out SteveMRE a while ago, I think, when Ashens mentioned him when doing his own MRE video once.

My wife and I got into mini painting for our D&D campaign last year and started following Black Magic Craft. She then came across Bard's Craft, who builds mini terrain out of random junk found outside and around the house. The stuff he manages to make is great, and I love his dry humor.

I follow a lot of video game and action figure related channels, and a lot of those are general interest ones that are easy to recommend (My Life in Gaming, LGR, Thew, Toy Galaxy, etc), one I follow that has a niche is Retro Repairs, which buy broken games and consoles from ebay and fixes them, usually in real time. A lot slower pace then the stuff I mentioned but a good watch all and all.

Ones where they buy broken games consoles off ebay and repair them/make them look new.

Even made me dabble in it myself. I fixed my RROD 360 and bought a few faulty PS1s and fixed those.

Feels good.

The appeal probably isn't very odd but AlmazanKitchen is fantastic. I'll probably never make any of the dishes they cook despite offering recipes but just watching is enough. Some of the techniques and set ups they use for outdoor cooking are really interesting.

I really like channels like RandomGaminginHD that play and test old hardware on newer games and see how they hold up. :)

Also history channels like Weird History or the History buffs :)

MRE steve is the best. You might not get it until you watch a few videos in a row. But it's zen.

Baumgartner Restorations. They restore old artworks. A lot of their videos are narrated, but I think the raw video makes a better overall sensory experience.

I heard someone say their restoration process is actually controversial in the art scene, but I wouldn't really know.

I came here to mention Forgotten Weapons as well. It's like a public access show in the best way. The guy goes over the history, development, and all the parts of the weapon and then sometimes shoot them. I really enjoy the history aspect of it and it's interesting to see how things changed over time or got downright weird.

I watch videos of various emergency vehicles from around the world. There are tons of channels that post videos of ambulances, fire engines, cop cars and such. It's weirdly interesting.

I'm not sure if this whole channel is satisfying, but I stumbled onto this RC race and the first half is crazy satisfying as all the cars expand and collapse through various turns and straight ways.
