Any US Amazon links or anyone know if Oculus site charges at pre order full price or until shipping?
I pre-ordered it and there's an option to cancel itAnyone know if you can cancel pre-orders? I am so on the fence and almost feeling like I should just pre-order now and potentially cancel later if I change my mind, does anyone know if FB / Occulus allows that?
What, really? Are there any downsides to this vs. this $110 cable?
Well, I didn't realize they'd massively scrimped on cable length with the Quest 2 compared to the one bundled with the OG Quest, but by all accounts differences are very minor, if visible. What, really? Are there any downsides to this vs. this $110 cable?

i did as well. I'm ordering a ps5 next week so I felt i should go cheaper, and I can't imagine they will allow apps so big they won't work on the 64gbI went with the 64gb model. It's been fine for the Quest 1 and it isn't like I'm going to keep some of the more linear experiences that will be larger installed all the time anyway. I've not even come close to filling the space on the Quest 1.
According to one article, it only has one headphone jack, not one in each sideBoom, ordered: 64gb plus the case/battery/strap kit. Anybody know if the earbuds from Quest 1 will work?
Ouch. That's a hard pass then. Gonna stick with my Rift CV1 for now.Wow, pretty harsh review from ArsTechnica:

if you pre order now, does it charge you now, or only when it ships?
Ok thank you just wanna make sure if i decide to switch my purchases come with me. A follow up question can you have an oculus library attached to multiple headsets? Say i keep my rift and get a quest as a secondary device, can i access the library from both headsets?

That ars review... ouch, tempted to just cancel my preorder, and keep my quest.
Thank you for posting this! Gave me enough justification to put my wallet away for the time being. I've got enough new consoles coming that I really shouldn't be buying a Quest 2 as well but I really want one to replace my PSVR 😁Wow, pretty harsh review from ArsTechnica:

I wouldn't be surprised if they give it a vita/ps move treatment.Got cold feet and ended up cancelling. Will hold out hope that Sony refreshes PSVR at some point next gen since the vast majority of my VR content is in their ecosystem.
I wonder if it will be possible to use the original quest controllers with the quest 2.That ars review... ouch, tempted to just cancel my preorder, and keep my quest.

So it does. But then they say there might be duties
It's in stark contrast to the uploadvr and toms hardware review, fwiw
I have my doubts. The only way you could think that sony isn't doing a psvr 2.0 at some point during the ps5 life frame is if you literally ignored all VR news from sony for the last 5 years.
none I saw, they just quickly mentioned them.

Anyone know if they charge when you pre order or only when it is released and shipped?
I feel like if tracking seems off, they can hopefully fix it in a software update. It became better in updates on the quest 1.
Maybe it's a province to province thing ?
