In before lock. Nice post I guess?
Well since before lock we are apparently - this is not a drunk thread.
This is about posting stuff that's beeing deemed acceptable on YouTube's behalf for reasons that can be beyond us, but might as well be decently rooted in an actual need.
As explained earlier, Latrodectus geometricus is an invasive species and requires being taken care of.
How OK Am I with an invasive species beeing eaten as a prank in an area where people are actually trying to remove it from? As long as eating said thing does no harm?
Well then why not. It's disgusting, it goes too far, but it' ethical.
At least it raises the levels of awareness for children who live nearby (which is the case for mine). In areas like here, the fact these potentially deadly spiders are roaming around is severely underlooked as they are not a traditional thing. No old folks tales speak about them. They only bear a very thin presence in minds, when they actually possess the potential to kill because the territory was colonized.
Kids need to know they have to be careful of those to the same extent as box jellyfish or Habu snakes. Period.
Does it bring anything bad to the debate?
