I had plenty of nerf guns and super soakers growing up and had lots of fun with them. My mom made sure I knew the difference between a toy gun and a real gun. Kids of not so great parents shouldn't be playing with guns.
I'm surprised it's not one of those Fortnite guns. Quite funny that Nerf doesn't want to do real guns but then they do a collab with Fortnite and make a ton of slightly distorted real guns...

Anyone else find it weird that a mall Santa would just blatantly shut down a request for a nerf gun?
I think that part of it legitimately happened and it was silly for the mall Santa to put his foot down on that.
But then, as usual, the right took a dumb but extremely insignificant thing and decided to blow it up and turn it into big culture war bullshit. This mall santa story doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things but the right's never gonna shut up about it now.
I'm sure there's a protocol for this kind of thing and he shouldn't have outright shut the kid down over a nerf gun.
Of course, this one thing that happened one time will be played on Hannity for years to come.
