Novelty Halloween foods

Anyone else enjoy making scary or gross/misleading looking food for Halloween events?

Here's what I took to my work party this year.

Rice Krispy Treats with red food coloring and white chocolate chips to look like fat

That's pretty clever but doesn't seem that Halloweeny. Should have called it ground Chuck and added some fingers and teeth. If you don't have actual fingers and teeth to spare, store bought is fine.

But I've never in my life done something like this, no.

What to use for fingers and teeth though? Teeth maybe some tempered white chocolate in a tooth mold, but fingers....

You could probably buy wax teeth and cut them apart. As for body parts, just search for gummy versions of them and I'm sure you can find all types or maybe they have molds where you can make your own with like white chocolate or something.

Some red liquid to make it bloody but I wonder what.

Someone made something similar in a reddit post.

As a kid I made stuff like gummy worms in crumbled oreo cookies to look like dirt but this is the first time I've made something that actually looks like something else.

It's extremely easy to do, I recommend everyone doing it.

Hell don't even do it for Halloween. Just take some to work and walk around eating hunks of raw hamburger meat out of a package.

Kinda, i mean they shrunk and got bulkier when they dried up in the pan but you could make it out what they where if you knew what they where supposed to look like.

They were extremely convincing at my office party. Had my supervisor convinced it was for Steak tartare and she was seriously about to gag.
