Apparently they played 4 hours of the campaign. (which is almost the entire length of halo 5 lols)
Looking forward to it.
Hopefully whoever is actually playing it does better than what we saw in that gameplay vid from that "Streets" MP map.

Seems Miranda Sanchez is playing it. Also, it's much easier to play SP competently imo so I don't know that it will be much of a problem.

Yeah totally. We're out of doomsday mode thanks to MP being solid as a rock but Campaign means a lot to me! My favourite part of Halo
I disliked both 4 and 5's campaign so I'm keeping my expectations low.
They've literally said its all based on PNW with slight variations. I wouldnt expect (much) more than what we've seen. I'm predicting this to be THE major sticking point with impressions/reviews
I don't understand, are the MP maps not taken/inspired from the campaign?
Is this 11 minutes of actual game play footage or is it IGN talking heads and only a few minutes of actual gameplay? I am hoping it is a 11 minutes of pure gameplay with them talking over the footage....I hope it is not the later and it is majority of them taking without showing a lot of footage.

No, the MP maps are inspired by canon. This has always been the case.

Well, I hope the interiors in the SP are nice.
It's not going to make or break the game but if there's not a solid variety of combat scenarios, unique locations, etc the lack of visual variety will make eveything feel even more samey.

I haven't felt this kind of anticipation for Halo since 3 honestly. There's no event that makes me feel like I'm 12 years old again like a Halo launch, excluding 5.

Been watching CohhCarnage play Halo's for first time and 1 through 3 + ODST + Reach each has been 5 to 7 hours about. Seems norm for Halo games if you just push story hard on Normal.
Got BF2042 and this to look forward to tomorrow morning. I'm pretty hyped right now. It feels like next gen is finally kicking off.
