I'm down for Alien just as long as it has nothing to do with the recent films. Being set on Earth is already a warning sign for me, however.

It could go either way with Hawley. An arthouse horror masterpiece or an overindulgent mess. Should be pretty either way.

I know he was focusing on films for a while but this guy makes great TV shows. I'm excited to see what happens with this.

These motherfuckers really announced an Alien series and then hid the footage from us.

I knew Disney would go with a TV show instead of trying to continue with another movie after Covenant.

It already sounds awesome.

Hawley's output over the last few years hasn't been the best so I'm not sure he still has it in him, but I guess this is still exciting

Disney, it's time.

Put Alien Encounter back into Disney World using the original Alien plans.

Set on earth? I wonder if that show is picking up some time after Alien Resurrection because at the very end they made it back to earth.

I feel like every week Noah Hawley is developing something and it goes nowhere. Cat's Cradle, Dr. Doom...

As long as they keep Ridley Scott the fuck away I'm on board. These guys are talented.

Hype. After Covenant I'm ready for the films to be put on ice for a while, but I'm down for a TV series (and more games like Isolation, thanks!)

How much fingering can we expect in this? It is a Noah Hawley joint so I'm expecting like a half hour's worth.

Not sure how this works being set on Earth but either way I'm excited I'll take anything in the Alien universe I can get.

Legion was amazing and that's the only reason I'm even remotely interested in this.

Where Dan Stevens at? Is this Disney making it up to Hawley for not letting him do Dr Doom?

If it's set on earth probably going to cover weyland corporation beginnings, them discovering the new species, and then going more off-world.

I will be disappointed if there aren't any killer androids

Maybe they will adapt the books where the Aliens overrun Earth? I thought they were pretty cool. I'd be fine with that.

Dunno about this being set on Earth, but still interested.
