Gorgeous. This is why i No Man's Sky. Shit like this just captures my imagination.
I think it's by design, best just get your shit in order and leave that hellhole behind asap.
Fun fact, this particular poster was also super-dismissive about Daniel Vávra's racist stuff, because Kingdom Come looked neat. Be an enormous dirtbag whose awful views show up in a game? Whatever. Misrepresent what a game is at launch and then spend two years fixing things? BURN THEM TO THE GROUND...and so on and so forth. Get out of here with this "I'm a victim" crap. Like I said, move on, you're not adding anything new and are simply hopping into every NMS thread to add the same stale take.
Oh i dont get 60 either everywhere, but ive been running the game with an fps counter on both versions and im just reporting the average increase. On the two planets i just tried by fps is basically 45-60. On old version it would have been 40-50All Ultra? Only way I get better performance is setting shadows to medium and turning light shafts off, AA on FXAA.
I wish they gave players with existing saves a way to transfer resources to a new game rather than just assume we'd all like to just try continuing to play our old games where 80-90% has changed or been removed anyway.

Orb or body?
I haven't played it since launch month or so, rebought on Xbox and I'm having a hard time, it feels like they've changed so much.
This game really makes the Xbox One X fans go fairly loud huh?
Down on the d-pad to bring up the quick menu and it's under Utilities. How to put first person view? Third person is not to my liking.
This is really the worst it's ever been. Previous releases created much less extensive problems for existing saves. I've been running the same save since 1.0 and this is the first time that I'm seriously considering starting from scratch. Is this gonna be the final overhaul?
Hearing about people's stuff getting blasted with the patch kinda discourages me to start the game knowing it could happen to me next major patch =-/
Something about an Earth-like having rings is so fucking awesome. This game looks so fantastic, the only thing that bothers me is the bad color transition in the air or in space. :/ Wish it didn't had this.
So presumably, because I've seen no one comment, HDR is not in for PC?
Quick menu (dpad down). Then all the way to left for settings. Then all the way to the right for View (or something similar).so ya'll. I decided to just return to where I left off at launch and no problems but, how the hell do I change to third person camera. I can't seem to find the option anywhere and no button seems to trigger it.
Thanks.
There's a message at the start of the game that says you can retrieve it from the base cache like you would when moving a base from one planet to another in the previous version of the game. So I'm assuming once you pick a place for a new base, set down the base computer and you can access your old base in the cache. But I haven't tried it yet, just going based on what the in-game bulletin describes.
Thanks!LOD is better, but framerate struggles a bit more, I'm getting audio glitches (when moving fast there's an abrupt, abrasive noise that lasts about a second) and framerate stuttering (when in hyperdrive) and there's this weird thing where occasionally the night sky looks like a video file at a very low resolution, if that makes sense. Aside from that, it looks tip top.
Yeah, now that every starter is a toxic hellhole it almost makes me want to just stick with my original save but I'd like to try learn the new mechanics that I've missed since launch. Guess I'll power through it, but I fear for new players. If I'd never played before I would be like "wtf where's the lush grass I was promised?"They intentionally seemed to have made it suck to teach you about fixing your stuff.
Prior to NEXT, it sounds like some folks found it digging around in the .ini or something, so it's almost like the planned it but it wasn't ready? Which would make sense because it's in for PS4 and OneX. Was really hoping it was on PC if the work had already been done on consoles, but I'm not optimistic... =/Hadn't heard about this but it would be cool to know - there was no option for it in The graphics setting.
Building the landing thruster fuel cell seems easier. It's, what, fifty of that di-whatever and a metal sheet?I'm on a planet and I can't launch off. What am I looking for to find Uranium??!

I'm thinking at this point that starting on hostile environments is by design to give the player some impetus to get moving. Also, just found the plant that gives you a limited time, unlimited fuel jet pack boost. Weeeee.

I did nothing special to join or anything.
