Lightning for Smash

The NIS America Press Event 2019 itself will be held on March 8. A preview of the presentation video, as well as hands-on access to some of NIS America's upcoming releases, will be provided to members of the press as part of the event. However, any information from the event cannot be shared until after the live stream on March 11.

Personally, I hope they announce more Cold Steel III details.

They actually have quite a few games they could localize - Destiny Connect, To All of Mankind, Murder Detective: Jack the Ripper, Closed Nightmare and the Langrisser 1&2 remakes.

Too bad NISA seems averse to working on any visual novels. Would love the Jack the Ripper game.

They're not going to announce *new* games like that, just localizations. Or at least I don't believe that's happened before.

Anyway, my personal predictions:
  • Crystar (PS4) from FuRyu - FuRyu already said they were planning an overseas release for 2019, but that could also just have been referring to the game's Asian release by Arc System Works
  • Destiny Connect (PS4, Switch) from Nippon Ichi Software
  • Langrisser I & II (PS4, Switch) from Chara-Ani
  • Work x Work (PS4, Switch) from FuRyu - trademarks for "Heroland" were filed by FuRyu in the west, so it's probably called that
Surprise title guess: Disaster Report 4 Plus: Summer Memories (PS4) from Granzella.

Nippon Ichi Software also has two games called Murder Detective: Jack the Ripper (adventure game) and To All of Mankind (survival game) coming out in Japan, but I'd wager those two are too newly announced for localization announcements.
