1080p and shadows on medium and you good to go.
do you turn on AO/camera motion blur/dynamic reflections or leave them off?
No, i leave them on. Some dips from 60 fps here and there, but nothing critical.do you turn on AO/camera motion blur/dynamic reflections or leave them off?
So,every setting maxed but shadows would give me ~60 fps?
Exactly. Also prologue is slightly more demanding than next levels, as i heard. At least on beach level even with max shadows settings i can achieve 60 fps (but i don't bother, its hardly noticeable)

Should be locked 60 FPS. My 1080 does 60 FPS with ~70% GPU use (a metric which goes up to potentially 120% -- yes it's confusing).
Holy shit, no mouse support?
*SIGH*
I was waiting for this. :( But I refuse to play with a controller.

Anyone have any luck getting ReShade to work with Nioh? I was hoping to add some postprocess AA, but the game game crashes after the initial loading screen when it tries to play the logo videos.
I just compressed Nioh and it runs like before, no unusual fps reduction (maybe a liiitle longer loading screens, but i play from hdd)I just did it and went from consistent 60fps down to 45-50fps. I'm undoing the compression right now. Baffled by how people say there is no performance impact then I do it and this happens. I'm on an SSD with 16GB RAM/ i7 8600k so it's definitely not a spec issue.
Edit: Finished the uncompression and my performance is still tanked compared to what it was just last night. Had to restart my computer to fix it. Now I'm wondering if I just restarted PC after compressing if it would still have performed worse.

I do plan to play Nioh, but I have absolutely no plans to do any work on it. I have more than enough to do, and honestly, as far my personal playing of the game is concerned, the port doesn't really have any large issues.
Previous page.
the soundtrack to this game is low-key amazing. Never really noticed it on the console version on my firtst playthrough
Is that FOV right? It looks a bit off, but maybe I'm just not used to seeing pics this wide.Yo. Now we're talking. (Pics taken from thread, using the aspect ratio patcher:)
Now to wait for some hud fix (a hudless toggle would also be nice).
I have everything on the highest setting, and its smooth about 90% of the time. Theres this part in the first proper mission, near a house with the gates requiring a key, and for some reason, I do get frame hiccups there, but everywhere else, runs smoothly

BTW, is there an OT for Nioh PC?
There's an OT for the game in hangouts, but not for PC specifically.I have everything on the highest setting, and its smooth about 90% of the time. I understand expecting m/k support for a PC version of a game out of principle, regardless of what the intended input device is, but you actually wanted to play it like that?Holy shit, no mouse support?
