Edit: disregard. The OP on Reddit didn't realize the res they set was 16:9 not 21:9, though they did note that by setting the game to 3840 x 2160 they didn't notice game or UI stretching on their 21:9 monitor (which sounds dubious).

I can run the game at 1080p with everything on high (apart from medium shadows) and always get 60fps.

GTX 1060 6GB
Ryzen 5 1600 @ 3.8Ghz
16gb DDR4 3000 Memory

I'm tempted to get this, with a 970, i5 6600k, and a 1440p monitor. A lot of the talk here's telling me to stay away for now, though.

I have resigned myself to playing at 720p for maintaining 60fps. GTX 960, i5 6600 and 8GB RAM.

A this resolution the game is using right now 3.6GB of VRAM which is kinda ridiculous.

Initial impressions:

6700k, 1080GTX.

Runs at 60fps 1440p max settings, there's an occasional stutter here and there if you run fast when the game is streaming stuff, this appears to be a limitation of the engine more than anything since this happened as well on PS4. New players probably won't notice it since they're going to play at a much slower pace than me.

Having played 120h+ on PS4 Pro I'm quite surprised at the results. The resolution difference is staggering. I'm gonna bet that even on the Pro this game stays at 1080p a very little amount of time, at least on the initial area (which due to rain, is probably one of the most demanding ones of the game btw)

At 1440p with everything maxed except shadows on medium. I have stable 60 fps with gpu usage ~ from 60 to 95%, but couple of times i got fps drops to 30 and considering how rare they were I'm not sure if it wasn't something on my pc that caused them.

Noticed some strange behavior when adding a 60 fps cap via RTSS. I had been getting 60 fps but with some seriously inconsistent frametimes, so I was going to add a cap to even them out, but as soon as I added Nioh to the RTSS program list, my FPS dropped like 10 fps and began fluctuating between 50-52.

Anybody else have better luck getting Nioh to behave with Riva?

Edit: I'll note that I was using Borderless mode, as that seems to be the only way right now to play in fullscreen without 2560x1440 being stretched to fill my entire 21:9 monitor.

Kind of stupid. The difference in high and low for me is equal.

45/34 FPS in high and 45/34 FPS in low. Except I may have gotten most of the weird hiccups.

Though game looks like PS4 fffffffffffff.

Most fucked up thing in this port - its only in STEREO!! No 5.1 surround sound (even Unreal Gold has better positioning than Nioh), c'mon..

I'm hoping based on the video on the first page that I can get 4K60 by just lowering shadow quality on my i7 5820 @ 4.3 Ghz and 1080ti.

Great stuff to be honest. He was hoping hard for 720p/60 so almost that I think it's good enough.

I also agree with people saying that first couple of levels with the rain and all are probably amongst the most intense in the game so the rest should work better.

I have settled on 40 FPS fluctuating between 34 and 45.

I7 3770K
GTX 1060 6GB
16GB RAM

388.13 driver

Render: Medium (low is too PS4 almost PS3)
Resolution: 1920x1080
Shadows Low
Frame Rate Cap: 60 (May have to become a scrubb and cap at 30)
Full Screen

AO, CMB, and DR off.

Feels like I should just play it on the PS4 -.-

Noticed something funny, in the manual directory, all non-asian countries have a barebones pdf booklet, but asian countries have a proper instruction manual going into detailed aspects of the game.

Initially game ran poorly at the tower section, my 3770k+1070+16g can't even maintian a steady 60fps at 1080p. Then I got to the isle, and everything is fine.

The PS4 version is also seemingly only available on Asian PSN.

This isn't normal at all. Not locked 60fps ? I can understand that. But even I am getting 55 to 60fps with render on high (native) at 1080p with AO, CMB, DR on.
