Eh, the Completionist has a lot of experience with these games so I'm thinking it's just a mix of pressure and the section being kinda unusual bc Cat Mario in 2D isn't something we've ever seen before with the springs deliberately messing you up.

At the venue it was REALLY confusing because we couldn't tell whose stream was whose.

Yeah, it's easy to dump on these people but they are playing a game for (largely) the first time in front of a live audience. Of course these people aren't going to dominate the courses. That should be expected.
