Nintendo Switch Online will have launched a year ago on September 19th. As such, I just received an email from Nintendo that unless I say otherwise, my subscription will automatically renew on September 20th.

I'm personally not going to renew my subscription unless they give me a compelling reason to stay on board. And that means more than offering "Special" NES games with pre-determined save states.

What about you?

EDIT: Apparently I'm the only mark that didn't take advantage of the Twitch Prime offer which I didn't know existed.

Yikes...I just realized I've had a monthly recurring sub on for months. Whoops.

I got that extra year with Prime a while ago, but still got the renewal email - although it does say September 2020, very confusing.

Me and my friends went in on a family pass for when Smash came out. I presume we're gonna keep it because its so damn cheap.

I'm set until 2020 from twitch prime so I'm good to go.

I'm going to renew... come April. I've had it since launch plus I grabbed a few more months ahead of schedule.

I didn't sub until December (after using the 1 week trial at launch or w/e). I turned off auto renewal but I probably won't renew it until I need to.

Unfortunately I will have to renew, since me and my friends are on a Family Plan, and we use the online very frequently.
The service is a trainwreck, though.

Even though my subscription wasn't due to lapse until October, I added another 12 months on top back in July when I got 100+ Nintendo credit (used most of it for games and the rest for the subscription).

Nothing. Twitch Prime gave me an extra year and I also got the Mario Maker 2 + 1 year NSO bundle, so I'll be good for a while.

I paid for my first year with gold coins and paid for my second with the Twitch Prime deal so I'm good for a little while still.
The entire service is so mediocre I still feel ripped off despite not having paid anything for it.

I voted Orange Cassidy because there's no way I'd renew just because, and also because mine's good until May of 2020...

Yep, got the Twitch prime year sub so I'm good. But I'm still playing Dragon Quest Builders, Smash and Splatoon online pretty regularly, so I'd be renewing it anyway

For $20 a year frankly I don't care if all I get out of it is the online functionality in Three Houses. Anything else that comes along (ideally SNES games but considering it's relatively unlikely I'll get any Squaresoft fare I'm not as excited about it as some) is icing.

Gave away my free Prime sub and almost forgot I have mine on auto renewal. Hopefully the SNES games come to make it worth it. I'll probably stay subbed, but it's not like I take advantage of it that frequently.

I never signed up as I just don't see the service is worth it. If everyone just keeps signing up what incentive is there for them to improve it.

I rarely use anything that requires NSO, so I won't bother renewing right away. If I decide to get Pokemon in November, I'll probably renew it around then so I can play with friends.

If my sub was up now I would. I still play Splatoon and Tetris 99. But I used Prime to extend an extra year. It will be interesting though come next year if I will or not...

When it comes to it I'll re-up the family plan that a bunch of friends and I are pay sharing for.

I'm just going to let it auto-update. Between NES games, Tetris 99, the voucher program, and the occasional online play, it's been worth it.

Me and my friends are on the family plan for Smash but since we haven't played that much, if at all, the past several months, I'll be letting it lapse when our timing rolls around.

i had 2 years for "free" with Twitch Prime and Mario Maker, I never let auto-renew for anything but I'm safe until March 2021.

I need to cancel mine. I haven't played online since smash launched and that was last December lol.

Probably keep it renewed, $20 isn't exactly an amount I'll miss in a year and cloud saves (for games that support them) are worth the price of admission.

Didn't select a poll option, since I'm definitely renewing but have auto-renewal off.

Because NSO is the only way to play most games online and to back up my saves, subscribing is a must for me.
