Would be nice if you could invite someone to your arena and when they accepted it would take them straight to the arena
This is kind of ridiculous, but I'm glad its here now.

Actually, this should be one of the options. If I'm not in front of the console, I can know that a friend is playing and wants to play.
It's like top 5 RPG ever quality though (for me), so other games can wait (again, for me).
The combat system is by far the best RPG gameplay I have ever experienced. Y'all need to give it a try.

Seriously, too little too late and still is not basic and usable functionality...
This should be implemented to most popular already online games....or would you rather have them wait until Switch 2 when they already have the function in place for Switch and can use it on current games ?

They need to erase arenas and just make a normal lobby mode w/ invites tbh. The arena idea is cool but too complicated.
Now that they made it so you can change rules within the thing, I'm okay with how it works. We just absolutely need those invites in.
Coming with Switch 2. Friends codes for your Switch account along with individual codes for each game. Back to the Wii days baby!

Sweet. Hopefully this gets integrated with the mobile app along with messaging eventually. Although it took a while, I'm glad they're not just completely ignoring updates to they're online features.
PLEASE update Splatoon 2 to support this. I never have any idea how the fuck pairing with a friend works aside from League Battles
I mean you can complain and wish for stuff that is impossible to happen since it would require a time machine....or want devs to use all avaible tools as of now for the best possible player experience.
I don't know why you think that nobody would use or implement it - doesn't make alot of sense when f2p and online games get updated all the time nowadays.
It will probably get implemented by a few games for sure.

Naw, although they are taking their sweet time with these features, they prolly know they will be good to go for the next iteration of the Switch family.
Yeah I'm also hoping lack of some of those QoL features are mostly due to them needing to rush the Switch release due to Wii U failure.
