With Bayo 3 being part of Nintendo's 2022 calendar, I definitely expect it to finally release next year

I have been lurking on this site more than usual over the past 24 hours because, after a truly awful week, I wanted one thing, just one thing from this Direct and HOMG the leaks just confirmed it?!

Also, that image brings to mind Shiver Star from 64 and lots of feelings about the (bad) fate of humanity in the Kirby-verse. Interested to see if Adelaine appears in this.

There is no 'leak' so to speak.

Most of the titles are just 2022 listings for the likes of Zelda and Bayonetta 3 on the official Nintendo release calendar.

The only title which we might not know about is the Kirby one.

Edit: and the internet for that matter

The only worry i have is that that will be the big Nintendo Annoucement for the Direct but i doubt it as it wouldn't fill up 40 Minutes

Which case are you on? That game rules so much.

I'm actually considering going to sleep and trying to catch it spoiler free in the morning; I don't want to be tired at work.

It's nuts. GOTY contender. This is to me as close as AA has gotten to the original games in terms of writing and plot weaving.

I'm at 2-4

2-3 was incredible.

I lost my stuff when it turned out that The Professor was Kazuma-sama's father

I mean, there'll be 15 to 20 other games from third-parties, indies, updates on existing titles.

September usually has been heavier on third-party and lighter on first-party, but even in 2019 they announced at least 2 first-party titles.

That being said, the fact they've updated the website with a brand new 2022 title for spring does make me think that Kirby could be it in terms of brand new titles from Nintendo. Hopefully the 2022 date for Bayonetta 3 means we'll be seeing more of that too. Be weird if just the one update happened on the site early, but that nothing else in the Direct did

The fact that new Mario + Rabbids game is still listed as "latest work (Tentative name)", even though the image used shows the actual name, just shows how careless they are with that page I guess.

I just started playing Xenoblade X a few days ago with the intent of actually finishing it this time so if they put out a remaster I'm going to sigh very hard.

Anyone in the EU playing anything nice to kill time tonight until the Direct?

Kena was a huge disappointment for me so I'm diving back into Ace Attorney Chronicles. The case I'm on right now is a real page-turner! Also might have to make time later today to finish up some Game Builder Garage projects.

I'm going back to Kentucky (route zero) tonight before the Direct.

Yeah, this very similar to what Nate said.

NateDrake, can you tell us something more?
Not much more to say, honestly.

The info shared there is correct & the change to which I was referring. This improved version of MP1 has been in development for a couple of years now & is well on track to make a 2022 release date. I view it as better as the end result should be more than a simpe HD coat of paint over a GCN game -- ala Mario Sunshine. Not saying a full-on ground up remake like Demon's Souls, either. But the end result will be the best version of MP1.

It would be just like Nintendo to announce a Platinumization before Diamond and Pearl's remakes, omg lol

Interesting eShop sale. I need to buy some things but why is the Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 -33% and Collection 2 -50%?

Hopefully we will see a meaty single player campaign for Splatoon 3 and split screen multiplayer.

Would love to get into this series, but online multiplayer simply isn't something I do.

I want Kirby to get the God of War treatment. Really mix it up and give us something new and interesting.
